Service delivery manager

Avanade is looking for a Service Delivery Manager to join our team at one of our Enterprise Customers. Do you get energy from managing and solving infrastructure related issues? Then we have the vacancy you are looking for!


About the role

As a Service Delivery Manager with an infrastructure background you will work within the Customers SMI team and you will be responsible for incident and problem management on a day-to-day basis.  There you will be responsible for:

·       Incident management

o   Attending and contributing to incident crisis meetings

o   Assisting in escalations

o   Reviewing and validating major incidents (reporting/SLA)

o   Reporting

·       Problem management

o   Process owner, regularly review the process and suggest improvements 

o   Drive problem management process at Customer side (on a day-to-day basis):

§  Initiate problem management process

§  Prepare RCA template

§  Assist applications owners in creating the RCA

§  Review and validate RCA’s 

§  Follow up on all problems and actions assigned to Customer

o   Interlock with 3rd party problem management team

o   Follow up on quality of service delivered by 3rd party problem management team 

o   Reporting


·       You have a Background knowledge of IT infrastructure and/or applications

·       You have experience with Microsoft solutions, this is an advantage. 

·       You have a working knowledge of IT service management processes (mainly incident and problem management)

·       You can communicate with IT (technical) colleagues, service providers/third parties and (higher) management

·       You can work both independently as in a team
