Job Description

We are looking to expand our business strategy Change, Communications and Content Team! This could this be your chance to make a valuable contribution to Avanade’s next chapter.  You will be responsible for driving our content strategy. Using the latest trends and technologies, you’ll create campaigns that provide our people with consistent, high-quality, and impactful content. You will need to work seamlessly across many strategy pillars and programs of change, and innovate around new ways of connecting our people to the information they need. 

This role will actively support the wide-ranging content needs for the program and will be an opportunity to build your internal network across all Areas, Regions and Functions, particularly with senior leadership. 

This is 100% remote role. Career progression would be supported in line with your aspirations and performance.   

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develops and executes a compelling content strategy aligned with program goals, using the latest technologies to create personalized experiences
  • Creates content in alignment with program goals and messaging 
  • Conducts stakeholder and audience analyses to understand how user needs map to business objectives
  • Strives to continuously evolve and improve our content strategy by conducting research and interacting with our target audience regularly
  • Coordinates with program team, stakeholders and global internal communications team to ensure alignment of messages and timing of launches, comms and events
  • Understands and utilizes innovative, new technologies and updates across our content ecosystem
  • Proposes new content ideas, discusses the progress of current campaigns and reviews the results of previous content campaigns
  • Partners closely with internal communications, global marketing and the business to support the communications of key initiatives and programs
  • Employs storytelling techniques to help differentiate Avanade’s messaging
  • Develops and employs metrics used to assess effectiveness of campaigns
  • Prepares materials for board meetings, the Executive Committee and additional senior leaders
  • Writes clear and concise scripts, presentations, emails, and web copy as well as external-facing assets

Skills & Knowledge:

  • 8+ years of Marketing & Communications experience
  • Possesses a passion for narratives and creating compelling user experiences
  • Has a broad knowledge of the content technology landscape
  • Willingness to innovate, try new things and step outside the box
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, emphasis on copywriting and social-style content
  • Is curious and has a growth mindset
  • Prior marketing or internal communications experience, preferably with a global company
  • Has experience working with digital channels and platforms to engage employees, ex. SharePoint, email platforms, external social media, etc.
  • Ability to work across global teams and manage multiple stakeholders both internally and externally
  • Creativity to differentiate and make a greater impact
  • Collaborative approach
  • Comfortable working in ambiguous situations and able to problem-solve

Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, public relations or related discipline
