Role Overview

As a C&B Specialist, you will be a key member of the Global compensation and benefits team, supporting Growth Markets Countries. You will oversee and support the planning, development, and implementation of new and revised compensation programs, policies, and procedures within your assigned countries. This role will also ensure that company compensation programs are consistently administered in compliance with company policies and government regulations. Additionally, you will help the implementation and communication of global compensation and benefits programs and will manage market intelligence and benchmark activities for your assigned countries. 

Key Role Responsibilities:

Day-to-day you will execute complex tasks and provide operational coordination for various processes:

  • Evaluate benefit programs in partnership with local HR teams and make recommendations to remain market relevance and competitiveness
  • Ensure accurate recording and reporting of information in Avanade's global benefits database
  • Keeps up-to-date on main compensation and benefit trends and regulations within domestic and foreign countries in order to ensure company compliance and market competitiveness
  • Support and assist with salary review activities and salary survey validation and analysis
  • Support total rewards communications in local regions such as rewards and benefit guides and newsletters.
  • Recommend and/or support the implementation of compensation plan revisions as well as new plans which are cost effective and consistent with market trends and company objectives
  • Assist with global mobility program

Key Role Skill & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, or Business. An equivalent combination of education and experience will also suffice.

  • Advanced English level. This person is going to interact with people from several countries.

  • Strong experience in Compensation and Benefits area

  • Sound knowledge of Brazil compensation and benefits regulations and market trends

  • Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written

  • Ability to adapt, be flexible, and deal w/ambiguity

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate information to multiple stakeholders

  • MS Office expertise; specifically must be proficient in Excel.
