We are so excited to be partnering for a second year with Returners to host an online launch event for their Reignite Returners Programme, for professionals returning to work after a career break of two or more years.

This event is targeted at anyone interested in potentially applying for the Avanade’s returners programme. We hope to introduce you to business leaders and those who joined the programme last year. We will  provide further detail about the organisation and roles available and you will also get to hear from Women Returners during a return to work support workshop to support your application.

Is this programme good fit for me? To be eligible, you will have:

  • Had a career break for 2 years or more. Perhaps you have taken time out to look after children or elderly family members, for relocation or for other reasons. During your career break you may have worked on a small-scale basis, or not worked at all.
  • An interest and previous experience in technology, relevant to one or more of the business areas detailed below.
  • An interest in returning to work as part of the Avanade Reignite Returners Programme.

The Avanade Reignite Returners Programme offers a paid placement of 6 months with the possibility of a permanent role at the end of the programme. Starting October 2022.

The roles will be based in Avanade's London Cannon Street office and will require some UK based travel. There are also roles in Ireland, Dublin.

Strategy Consulting (known as Advisory at Avanade)

The Advisory team consists of 3 integrated capabilities: Business, Technology and Organisational Change Transformation. The Advisory team aims to help solve their customer’s modern business challenges with a customer centric and industry orientated conversation.

Members of this team help their customers understand and quantify their challenges through discovery and assessment workshops and interviews. They help their customers build a business case for change, envision the future and support them in planning a transformation roadmap to deliver this. They work with other Avanade Talent Communities to realise these plans and help their customers get the most out of their investments in Technology and People.

Business Applications

As the market leader for Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementations and solutions, we are helping organisations rethink how to get more from their technology investment. We offer strategic advice and technology solutions that span sales and marketing, intelligent customer services, connected field service, modern finance and operations and ecommerce. Programme and Project Management (known as Delivery Management at Avanade)

Avanade’s Programme and Project management team is made up of delivery leads and project managers who come from a variety of backgrounds and experiences. We are all brought together by our passion for delivering technology and managing client relationships to a high standard.

The team is responsible for managing the whole delivery lifecycle from mobilisation to lessons learned, ensuring that the client gets the solution that they signed up for. The majority of our work is around managing the client relationships and that includes our internal client, Avanade. We have a global support and development network that ensures that our people are trained and certified to deliver at all levels and that there is a clear career path from consultant to Executive.
