About the role:

As part of the Business Application Global Solution Area Centre of Excellence (BA COE), we have created a dedicated sub-group for the Growth Markets (GM) Area. 
The D365 COE Lead role is responsible for managing this group of D365 ERP and CRM SMEs in a way to provide expert contribution to the GM Regions business, at different stages of the project lifecycle, and to global initiatives led by the Global CoE. 

You’ll partner closely with the Regional and Area Solution Area / Offering Leads and teams to provide assistance or lead workstreams from pre-sale, customer presentations, RFP answers, QA, down to critical delivery phases when Region need the highest expertise level in D365 solution. You will also have a cross Region and Area role in designing overall D365 strategy, solutioning deals, providing Architecture design or best practices guidelines, and promoting their application in all Regions.

This role is focusing on BA D365 Fin & Ops and CE, CS including other solutions to assists our clients in digital transformation.
In this role, you will contribute to full-spectrum, cross-offering solutions sales and delivery for clients. You will partner with Regional SA Lead and Talent Community Lead on resourcing and skill needs to maintain effective business operations and project outcomes, leveraging the Global Delivery Network (ATCs) as needed, to prepare our organization for market changes. 

Day-to-day, you will:

Collaborate with and educate account and sales team to drive D365 offerings to target clients, including all stages of the deal pursuit, review and approval
Support quality and client delivery issues 
Develop strong, effective relationships with Regional Functional teams, and lead knowledge sharing on your specific Industry domain (if you have developed over the years such Industry focus) 
Team with the global Center of Excellence (CoE) on offering, client harvesting and asset/IP development
Travel as dictated by the business.

The mission can be split in several areas:

Pre-sales
- Prioritize COE action plan based Regional stakes
- Proactively respond to pre-sales support requests from regions and assist in the shaping & closing of deals.
- Help define win themes
- Design solution architecture with Region architect
- Assess implementation effort using all Avanade tools (AIES, DevOps, AEP,…) and ensure all assumptions are shared with Client
- Assess risks and mitigations
- Design RACI and ensure implications are understood
- Present to Client
- Work with business developers to identify early adopters for solution and coordinate feedback to solution manager/solution architect.
- Participate to some critical delivery phases, to deliver additional expertise to Region,  when needed and agreed with Area management
- Provide project teams with Review support (proposal QA and delivery QA)



Capability & Management
- Keep abreast of market trends, competitor offerings, Microsoft products and solutions, Accenture/AMBG initiatives, Avanade field engagements
- Identify Regional strengths and weaknesses and help them fix major capability gaps (methods and tools, industry expertise)
- Work with the Avanade regions to identify opportunities to harvest reusable assets from customer projects that support our solutions.
- Effectively communicate the availability of and key messages around our solutions to the regions, Microsoft, and Accenture using a wide variety of channels.
- Work with Marketing and the Business Development community to scope and create sales collateral for our solutions, including: Sales decks; solution sheets; white papers; competitive positioning; and differentiating messages.
- Identification of any relevant Partnership/Alliance strategy specific to solution domain, inclusive of tools and coordinated campaign messages (working with marketing).   


Offering Team Leadership
- Work with the leadership of the Business Application Global CoE to ensure that our offering efforts are appropriately prioritized; that our solutions are integrated; and that we have defined the right solution cross-selling messages in place for our regions.
- Establish credibility and strong working relationships with Area and Regional TC Leads/Solution Directors, Solution Architects, Infrastructure leads, Strategy, Marketing, and PR contacts.


About you:

You revel in success, with a leadership track record in developing and growing long term, high value client relationships in Business Applications. You’re adept at communications, especially with influencing and negotiation capabilities that help you establish and grow solutions with key clients. Internally, you enjoy advising leadership teams in the development, production, and promotion of solution offerings to grow a technology services line of business. 

Your past experience shows:

10+ years in key sales and delivery roles for ERP or CRM
10+ years in relevant technology business leadership experience, including solution sales, creation, delivery and business management, and more than 5 years of demonstrated people and/or business leadership experience, particularly within a consultancy. 
Minimum 10 years of experience in Dynamics 

Your professional skillset should include: 

Ability to effectively team with peers in a large, International, matrixed organizations, including significant experience with off-shore teams and delivery
Experience delivering solutions for client organizations through complex solutions / projects with heavy client interaction
Be able to convert business, functional and non-functional requirements into a design that takes into account these requirements
Fully trained in Business Process Modelling
Strong consulting / project-based background, including assessing and managing the opportunity and risk associated with large scale, complex projects.
Certified in relevant D365 applications
Trust and communication: be able to manage and train people 
Perspective and helicopter view: be able to step back and take distance from details 
Broad knowledge in general, as well as expertise knowledge in specific fields (necessary to gain trust of your developers). 
Continuous improvement of yourself, learning and following trends
Be aware of resources, costs and economic reality
Sense of responsibility and ownership

You likely possess a Bachelor's degree in Business or technology-related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. An advanced degree or MBA is strongly preferred, particularly technical (IT, engineering, or related).
