Roles & Missions

The Transition Manager is responsible for managing two phases within the framework of a Managed Services contract.
1) The Transition Phase: Familiarize yourself before operating a service and organize the implementation of the Run service
2) The Reversibility Phase: Restoring knowledge before stopping the provision of the subscribed services
He intervenes on the Client assets entrusted to him in a context that can be onshore or mix Onshore/Nearshore/Offshore).
It applies the methodology in accordance with Avanade Blue Print and Avanade Delivery Frame Work (ADF).
He defines, plans, coordinates, and implements the necessary actions in order to deliver services in compliance with our clients' contractual commitments.



Key Responsibilities 

Managing the Transition Phases and the Reversibility Phases 
Applying the Avanade methodology
Implement solutions & organizations according to the Delity's model chosen by the client (on/near/off shore)
Initialize the services, tools, and interconnections between Avanade and the Client through the Transition Plan
Manage phase risks and budgets
Implement transition deployment indicators and indicators to measure the service levels of the execution phase (RUN)
Ensure the staffing of resources with regard to the skills expected on the commitment
Initialize Competency Matrix and Maturity Radar
Define training plans
Write contractual deliverables (PCA, PAQ, PACS, Transition Plan, Reversibility Plan, etc.)
Setting up and animating the comitology of the transition phase

Define and ensure that the GO live criteria will be met



Ecosystem

The Transition Manager works closely with the Production Managers, the Engagement Manager, the Service Managers (onshore/nearshore/offshore), the Incident Manager, the Team Leader of the various activities of the Managed Services organization, the Quality Manager, 



Delivery

Set up the organization that will deliver services at the expected service levels in compliance with the contractual SLAs of its Client portfolio
Ensure the proper application of processes, methodology, and best practices
Ensure the adequacy of resources, level of competence, knowledge and certifications on your client portfolio
Implement service continuity (context, customer, shift, documentation, RCA)
Manage comitology instances with the customer
Identify and mitigate risks 
Manage the partners involved in Delitery's models
Set up reports and dashboards to control the quality of the services operated as well as the monitoring of expected metrics
Write and validate the deliverables of the Transition phase (PAQ, DAT, DEX, DC, Reversibility Plan, BCP, Process & Escalation Matrix Operational & Security Crisis Management, Welcome Booklet, Skills Matrix
Have the final acceptance report signed without reservation
Share customer satisfaction tracking and corrective action analysis
Supporting the rise of the engagement manager



Management

Oversee the operational resources that deliver the services of the phase
Accompany teams in the Day to Day – help prioritize actions/plan changes.
Ensure the adequacy of resources, level of competence, knowledge and certifications on your client portfolio
Ensure the quality of overall services for clients
Define action plans/escalate risks and alerts
Collect customer satisfaction & Define & implement progress and continuous improvement plans
