About the role: 


We are seeking a Head of France, Advisory. This person will lead and grow the Advisory business in France, as a key leadership hire that will be pivotal to the growth and success of the French business as well as Avanade’s Global Advisory Services organisation, given the scale of the opportunity. In a strategic leadership role with the remit to grow and lead a team who work closely with Avanade’s enterprise clients and in tandem with the broader organization, with the specific purpose of accelerating the achievement of business goals through a road map of pragmatic digital transformation. This role will be responsible for leading a team of professionals advising Avanade clients on their digital strategy and how to transition their businesses to become a player in the digital world.  Within a highly collaborative and global environment you will provide: 

Thought Leadership: Provide thought leadership in digital transformation, keep abreast of digital transformation trends and innovative approaches to operational excellence. Drive ideation and co-innovation programmes from front end CX to large scale IT transformation.  


▪ Business Development: Develop and extend major client relationships at the CxO level through a prominent professional network, previous client impact, and domain expertise.  


▪ Project Delivery: Role modelling high impact client work including value architecting and realization around technology enabled change programmes and developing high level technology roadmaps and strategies.   

▪ Practice Development: Support the Global Advisory Services practice growth, nurturing and developing talent, assets, and intellectual capital.  


Firm Development: Play an active role in influencing and shaping the go to market of the wider French firm, collaborating across the firm to harness our capabilities and communities effectively.  



Candidate Profile  


We are seeking an experienced advisory leader and  business builder, who will unify the different strands of Avanade France and attract high-quality talent into the Advisory business. You will  balance practice leadership, and all it encompasses,  with role modelling high impact client work. 

Candidates will be able to demonstrate they can drive rapid growth in an Advisory business across industries such as FS, Retail and Resources. Knowledge and content expertise in some of the following growth areas; Digital/ Workplace Strategy and Transformation; IT Strategy and Transformation or Technology Platform, Applications and Services Modernization; Multi-Speed IT Operating Model; Enterprise Architecture; Workplace Security; Customer and/ or Employee Experience Transformation; business strategy and model design and implementation; business operations transformation (e.g. new product development, sales, service); organizational change management; cost reduction, culture and people strategy.


With an entrepreneurial spirit, and critical business leadership skills,  you have an appetite to grasp the opportunity and  build a business quickly.  You  will leverage past experiences working  in high-calibre consulting or technology environments and  display a breadth of experience or understanding of distinct types of consulting models.


In terms of the competencies required for the position, the following are important:

Fluency in both French and English languages is desirable but as a minimum business level capability is needed. 

Demonstrate the ability and capacity to influence others to achieve common goals through emotional leadership skills.
