As a Director, Europe Modern Engineering Lead COE you are responsible for helping shape the strategic direction around application architecture and showcasing Avanade’s technical eminence in this space; engaging in pre-sales support on the most strategic deals across the globe, intervene on high-risk deliveries, partnering with Microsoft, Accenture and other partners to evolve our application PoV and strategy and also help accelerate adoption and skills development of resources across our regional teams.   You also work closely with the Global, Area and regional offering leads to implement a strategy for offering identification and investments.

Day-to-day you will:

Innovation & Offering strategy:

Help define Avanade point of view on Application Architecture to establish thought leadership and eminence in the marketplace

Partner with offering leads and COE peers to establish and execute offering strategy and Identify opportunities to grow market presence

Market development:

Support offering leads with education on emerging and differentiated architecture trends

Develop strategic ecosystem partnership with 3rd parties

Build deep relationships with Accenture and Microsoft teams in relevant areas.

Drive Region MU business and develop the GTM strategy aligned to the regional T&T
Effectively position offering (and sub-offerings) with sales team, channels and target clients (Direct and Indirect)

Sales:

Work with account teams and offering leads to support differentiated client value and secure wins in our most strategic accounts

Establish and maintain relationships with key “architecture” buyers and influences at key clients.

Contribute to solution planning and design efforts across teams and workstreams to shape client’s solution vision and deliver value

Delivery:

Engage in high risk/complexity delivery engagements and ensure successful delivery.

Enable and ensure “lighthouse” success stories with new and emerging technology/architecture

Engage in delivery solutioning

Capabilities:

Partner with L&D, TC leadership and RCLs to determine learning roadmaps and skill priorities for staff

Establish and maintain an active community of Architecture practitioners and though leads across the regions.

Your technical and non-technical skills include:

·       Impeccable integrity, credibility and character

·       Executive-level experience in growing and leading a medium to large-scale profitable technology services business, preferably within an international environment

·       Experience in assessing and managing the opportunity and risk associated with complex, large-scale consulting projects

·       Deep Knowledge of Microsoft products, Cloud Technologies and methods and software development and Architecture is essential

·       Ability to guide and direct leadership teams in development, production and promotion of solution offerings

·       Client-oriented attitude and excellent interpersonal skills

·       Demonstrated understanding of delivery methodologies (Avanade Connected Methods, Microsoft Solutions Framework, Accenture Delivery Methods)

·       Experience turning around projects with significant delivery issues

·       Demonstrated ability to be effective in a virtual organization and expertise mentoring executive-level staff.
