We would like you to:  

• Be part of a large, dynamic team delivering Java Spring backends for high profile financial services projects  
• Play one of various roles on the team, ranging from Team Lead to Technical Expert, as required by the project 
•  Design and develop high-performance, security-focused, and robust APIs  
• Integrate with other backend systems  
• Have a solid understanding of agile software development teams and processes  
• Contribute actively to the design, coding, integration, testing and deployment of high-quality deliverables.   
• Conduct code reviews and suggest areas for refactoring and improvement  
• Have a keen eye for identifying improvement opportunities, and the skill to get buy-in and ensure implementation  
• Interface with multiple local and remote teams, both business and technical

We would like you to have at least:  

• 4+ years of experience with Java development and design (J2EE)  
• 2+ years of experience with frameworks like Spring, Spring MVC, Spring Boot  
• 2+ year of experience of working with databases (SQL, Oracle, or MongoDB)  
• 2+ years of experience with RESTful APIs  

You will need to know:  

• Agile processes and ceremonies  
• GIT  
• Continuous Integration   
• Test-Driven Methodologies
