Avanade is embarking on a multiyear sales transformation as part of a wider CEO-led company-wide business transformation to dramatically grow Avanade across multiple corporate metrics such as sales, revenue, profit and market share. The transformation includes creating a high performing sales function with a refreshed sales operating model with a clear identity, career model, modern tools and systems to support a growing sales force to deliver exceptional results in a supportive, inclusive and rewarding work environment. 

As a Business HR Advisor supporting both Global Sales and Corporate Functions, you will split your time leading/supporting efforts to drive Avanade’s people agenda and enabling our talent strategy under the direction of the Business HR Leads for Global Sales and Corporate Functions. You will be responsible for key HR/people initiatives and processes, including employee inquiries, communications, onboarding, culture building, as well as general resource administration. You will interpret HR policies, programs, and procedures and act as a liaison to other teams such as payroll, benefits, and recruiting. You will also provide program management support to the Business HR Lead, which may include: employee relations, performance management, professional development, compensation, budgeting, scheduling, and inclusion and diversity.

Day-to-day you will:
  • Support Business HR Leads in execution of Avanade HR strategy
  • Plan, develop, organize, implement, and evaluate HR program efforts, under the supervision of Business HR Leads (i.e. Performance Management, Talent Development, Compensation, etc)
  • Support Global Sales Transformation activities, including report generation, analysis, developing content to be shared with Steering Committee
  • Support Go Orange onboarding and employee engagement programs to maximize retention
  • Contribute to the creation of HR policies and programs through participation in special projects and tasks forces
  • Provide technical advice and knowledge to others within the human resources discipline
  • Focus on continuous improvement of HR programs, policies, practices and processes
  • Provide reporting and analytics to support data-driven people decisions, set HR priorities, and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Manage and update HR systems
  • Advisor/Generalist background in employee relations, performance management, compensation/benefits, HR administration, onboarding, and recruitment
  • Demonstrated success in delivering employee programs that impacted/improved the success of an organization/department
  • Expert knowledge of applicable employment laws
  • You likely possess a bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Psychology, or have an equivalent combination of education and experience; Master's degree preferred; SPHR/PHR certification preferred
  • You likely have about 2-6 years of professional experience in a Human Resources role
  • Experience within professional services or technology industries is preferred
