The Solutioning Methods Lead will act as the lead organizer and developer of Avanade’s Solutioning methodology and tooling strategy, including training and capability development, Solution Architect role definition, as well as interlock with delivery methods and communications across the Avanade/Accenture/Microsoft ecosystem.
 
Methods leadership will incorporate responsibilities for the development, planning and execution of the evolution to the Avanade Solutioning Framework, and associated tooling, including gathering and prioritizing stakeholder requirements, defining the vision, and working to ensure stakeholder and end user satisfaction goals are met.

Initiatives related to maturing Avanade’s global Solutioning methods and tooling will cover a range of work related to method development, tooling, training, capability development, management reporting and supporting content.

Key Responsibilities
· Methods management responsibilities include:
• Development of solutioning methodology and tooling strategy
• Methods and tools training and development
• Interlock for delivery methodology
• Communications
· Implement and develop overall Solutioning methodology
· Define overall tooling strategy in relation to the Solutioning Methodology, including potential tooling integration
· Work with internal or external third parties, as required, to implement partnerships, alignment and interoperation
· Development, execution and support of virtual, in-person and self-serve methodology training for Solution Architects 
· Leads the delivery of all initiatives associated to the program of work, at agreed, scope, schedule, and quality levels. 
· Manages overall program risks, making adjustments as necessary and obtaining buy-in from senior management for critical project plans, commitment, and changes
· Oversees and leads development, implementation, and maintenance of solutioning methodology, tooling and associated training; including approval for estimated schedule, effort, and cost
· Develops strategy for control and governance structures to ensure desired outcomes across projects

Technical Skills and Knowledge
· Experience successfully managing multiple large, ongoing, interrelated projects to achieve a specific set of customer business goals
· Knowledge and experience of estimation, solutioning and delivery methodologies and tooling
· Experience of projects utilizing Agile and SAFe delivery methodologies

Other Skills and Knowledge
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Good business acumen
· Proven ability to become a strategic business partner and trusted adviser to internal senior stakeholders, and associated functional teams

Location: Remote working with minimal planned travel
