Full Stack Software Developer – Sr. Consultant

Role Overview:

We are growing our team and looking for someone who enjoys working with Microsoft technologies on a fun and challenging project together with a team of inspiring colleagues. You will be joining and help leading our Software Engineering team of approximately five coworkers who are all passionate about pushing the limits of Microsoft technologies to help our customer achieve their goals. As a Full Stack Sr. Developer you will have to performs activities in all layers of the stack, from setting up the database to programming in the back-end and the front-end you also will be involved in all stages of software, database integrations, network and hosting management, user interface, user experience, and back-end server management.

As a team leader you will provide guidance and mentor team members in all areas of the client application while being the first point of escalation for all technical issues. This includes technologies you have not worked with or have limited experience with but you have the ability to work with your team members to drive and provide guidance and motivation to solve complex and time sensitive issues. 

Key Role Responsibilities:

  • Scope out and develop new features and enhancements with a previously built and supported application to meet our clients ongoing needs.
  • Assist in defining and reviewing requirements and use cases for enhancements to the application.
  • Prioritize and manage ticket escalation, meeting the required deadlines for ticket response and resolution.
  • Investigate and triage incidents according to a defined incident management process.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve reported defects within our supported set of applications.
  • Oversee all aspects of a production environment to ensure key metrics and Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) are being adhered to.
  • Hands-on experience working with large scale production environments with minimal downtime
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex system and application issues.
  • Business awareness and understanding of business requirements of IT
  • Excellent problem-solving, strong analytical and organizational skills

Key Role Skill & Capability Requirements:

  • Development experience with some or all the following technologies: Angular, C#/.NET, WPF, SQL Server,  SharePoint and Web Technologies (XML/JavaScript/AJAX)
  • Excellent knowledge of and experience with the following Azure services:
    • Computer services
    • Storage services
    • Data management
    • Messaging
    • Developer
    • Functions
  • Experience working with large scale production environments requiring minimal downtime
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex system and application issues
  • Pick up new technologies quickly, thoroughly, and confidently, based on concepts you already understand
  • Can think on their feet and thrive under pressure

Preferred Education Background:

University degree required in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field

Preferred Years of Work Experience:

3-5 years of experience working in a Production Support or Development role
