Job Description

The UX/UI Designer assists with customer engagements and creates creative/UX transformation deliverables on projects. This role focuses on design and creative task areas.

Required Work Experience

1+ years relevant design experience.

Preferred Education

Bachelor's degree in Design, Graphic Design, or similar degree; experience may substitute for degree.

Requirements & Skills

Portfolio that demonstrates capability in design principles and solutions preferred.

Experience with visual design, principles of UI design, layouts, graphics development, typography, color and visual theories.

Knowledge of user experience disciplines and User Centered Design methodologies such as UX architecture, research, usability and content strategies.

Proficient with of Adobe Creative Suite needed; knowledge of W3C HTML / XHTML, CSS a plus.

Some experience designing with mobile in mind.

Prototyping skills and expertise in software such as Adobe XD, Axure, Sketch, Balsamiq or InvisionApp.

Open to working in a client facing role.

Fluent in English (B2 or higher). The working language shall preferably be English.

Scope of Work and responsibilities

Participates in all phases of Avanade Experience Design projects (Discover, Design, Build and Test)

Participates in creating deliverables with design focus on assigned projects (comps, style guides, graphics development, layouts)

Supports creation of delivery of architecture-focused deliverables in projects (i.e. information architecture, taxonomies, content structures, wireframes, prototypes)

Supports to the brand development of Avanade, customer awareness of Experience Design products and services, and development of customer case studies

Provides recommendations to senior managers and consultants to resolve business issues.
