Avanade Digital Studio is looking for an Experience Designer to join our growing Studio team. This is a specialist in human centred design. You will start you work by knowing the people you are designing for and your stakeholders’ objectives. Your goal is to humanise technology and empower business.

Core UX Design Skills:

o   Conducts user research activities to identify main experience insights and opportunity spaces

o   Synthesizes research findings, uncovers and articulates insights that inform and inspire design

o   Works with clients to understand detailed business requirements that meet their vision

o   Runs co-creation sessions and facilitates design thinking workshops with clients

o   Ability to convey concepts through wireframes, flows and mockups

o   Defines interaction models, user flows, detailed user interfaces (UI)  for product (tool and service) design

o   Develops and chooses the right tools to build rapid prototypes

General Skills:

o   Participates in client meetings by presenting deliverables and offering suggestions or options

o   Directs the work of other team members of her/his role family

o   Evangelize Experience Design within Avanade through informal communication, formal presentations and training sessions

o   Contribute to business development efforts through customer relationships and RFP submission support

o   Work with other team members who lead various aspects of the project: content strategists, UI designers, technical leads, and delivery leads


Preferred Education Background:

o   Bachelor's degree in Interaction Design, Human Factors, Computer Interaction, Behavioral Psychology, Human/Computer Interaction, or similar degree. An equivalent combination of education and experience will also suffice.

Preferred Years of Work Experience:

o   5+ years in the field
