About the Job

Avanade is seeking a leader who has a strong track record of selling to and delivering organizational change consulting services for Global 500 companies. The successful candidate will have experience as a change agent, particularly in large scale transformations related to digital or technology initiatives, working in senior director or partner-level advisory roles for technology or management consulting organizations. S/He will be able to translate strategic direction into actionable communication and influence goals within highly complex organizations. As a “market maker,” s/he will be responsible for selling projects to existing and new clients. A background in technology and/or digital strategic consulting disciplines is important and preferred. This leader will be expected to function as a trusted advisor to executive clients; as such, it is important that s/he has a strong executive presence and the ability to build credibility with clients based on domain expertise.

Highlighted performance expectations and day-to-day role requirements include:

  • Formulate a deployment strategy; identify priorities, networks, and deployment channels; develop pilot approaches; and integrate Agile approaches.
  • Help clients define and implement continuous and dynamic progress, identifying strengths and opportunities to improve, as well as organizing exchanges and capitalization of expertise.
  • Participate within the OCM talent community, sharing successes and best practices, mobilizing local "champions," enabling knowledge uses and expertise uses introduced by conversations in the community.
  • Advise clients on the challenges and opportunities arising from digital disruption among customers and employees.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage Advisory and work closely with senior client executives to keep them up to date on the effectiveness of change efforts and to develop flow through business.
  • Expand and lead a team of change professionals, coaching and managing across sales, delivery, offer, and capability development.
  • Lead solution planning and design efforts for OCM, partnering with business development and account teams to drive sales in targeted accounts.
  • Partner with technology-based talent communities to incorporate change into large-scale digital transformation deals.
  • Travel as dictated by business.

About You

You’re an experienced change agent. You can translate strategic direction into actionable communication and influencing goals within highly complex organizations. You have experience executing service redesigns as well as managing business segments.

Your skill set and experience likely include:

  • Successful pre-sales, co-selling, and business development skills within a diverse customer portfolio and complex channel management.
  • Consulting and project-based background, with a passion for leading change through transformational technology solutions.
  • Risk and impact analysis grid creation across organization, processes, tools, procedures, human resources, and culture.
  • Assessment of change impact / digital maturity across digital transformations.
  • Expertise and facilitation of design thinking, including mapping of actors and associated roles and responsibilities of a change network.
  • Ability to establish deep relationships of trust with executive-level clients.
  • Crisis management, Quality/Delivery Oversight for larger change programs/projects and team management across geographically dispersed teams.

Your credentials likely include an advanced degree such as an MBA, PhD or equivalent degree, plus around 15 years in Organizational Change Management.
