About the Role:

As a senior Digital Workplace consultant, your focus will be on deep technical roles and leading teams in development and testing of mission critical enterprise solutions. You will be responsible for the design implementation of custom components and applications using the latest versions of the .NET Framework, ASP.NET, C#, SharePoint, Office 365, PowerApps, Logic Apps, and other advanced components of Microsoft technology.

The Manager or Lead focuses on designing, deploying, and testing solution components of medium to large size and complexity. This position develops/tests mission critical enterprise solutions and contributes to Avanade's repository of intellectual property. In addition, the Manager or Lead Consultant assists with customer relationship, change requirements, proposal development, some marketing/PR initiatives and serves as a Career Manager.

About You:

  • Digital Workplace/SharePoint Consultants will typically:
  • Interact with teammates and customers to identify problems and solutions in working toward completion of project goal.
  • Lead and review your team’s work across all phases (plan, analyze, design, build and test)
  • Direct efforts to define technical, operational and user requirements
  • Design conceptual architecture and technical solutions and lead efforts to develop and implement client-approved solution
  • Take responsibility for project activities including work estimation, planning, stakeholder management and project quality
  • Own partnership with cross-functional technology and design teams to ensure consistent, beneficial client interaction and solution delivery
  • Ensure that offshore resources are leveraged appropriately
  • Take an active role in sales activities and planning as required
  • Travel as needed.

Key Qualifications:

  • Focused Microsoft platform Skills
  • Full lifecycle experience developing large scale applications
  • Experience as a programmer in a large enterprise environment
  • Demonstrated strong knowledge and proficiency in the following:
  • .NET Framework, ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript
  • SharePoint, Office 365/SharePoint Online, and SharePoint Search
  • Familiarity with PowerApps, Flow, Logic Apps, Microsoft/Office Graph, and SharePoint Modern Pages/Web Parts preferred
  • Leading Migration Projects Plan with experience and expertise in leading a SharePoint Migration.
  • Years of Experience: 6-9 years of increasingly diverse or complex experience
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS or related field
  • Other Skills/Knowledge: SharePoint/Office 365

Additional Area, Region or Service Line specific requirements:

  • Experienced leading mid to large sized teams (5 to 10+ resources)
  • Should have deep technical skills and be capable of serving as a subject matter expert in at least one Microsoft technology or business domain.
