Job Description

Role Overview:

In this Sales Support role, you will facilitate Avanade's sales teams in successfully and efficiently closing new business, leveraging specific skills depending on area of focus. You will provide administrative support, project management, analytics & reporting, and knowledge management support throughout the sales process to ensure the timely flow of knowledge, information, decisions and deliverables to the sales teams and customers. Additionally, you will develop and implement relevant processes and credentials to support Business Developers and Account Leaders in achieving territorial sales growth targets. As a consultant, you will work to understand Avanade's strategic priorities and gain the ability to identify the potential impact of your activities. Overall, you will provide efficient support in orchestrating and/or reporting on pipeline, account planning, territory analysis, revenue target definition and account planning.


Key Role Responsibilities:          

Day-to-day, you will:

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of relevant processes and tools for a given territory/region/Market Unit to support decisions and sales growth 
  • Contribute to an environment that facilitates sales enablement and fulfillment of proposals in an efficient manner 
  • Support the yearly account plans process 
  • Build assets, differentiators, and processes to support cross-selling 
  • Act as a liaison with other functions to deliver relevant collateral to Business Development Executives and Account Leaders 
  • Modify processes and procedures to reflect customer and market needs, and continuously exceed customer expectations in a timely manner 
  • Support the development and implementation of management decision tools 
  • Provide regular pipeline reporting and revenue forecasting to inform strategic planning and decisions 
  • Secure alignment to the DEEPR process and ensure use of enablement tools to facilitate selling excellence 
  • Develop and maintain a well-organized filing system to permit easy reference and rapid retrieval of information

  • Good relationship management skills 
  • Verified excellence of analytical skills, and ability to read, understand and analyze data to provide valuable insights 
  • Good ability to leverage network of inside and outside contacts to increase influence and to skillfully navigate complex situations 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strongly preferred: 
  • Experience supporting the sale of outsourcing / managed services deals and/or other large-scale engagements that include significant offshore delivery.
  • Experience leveraging offshore resources in deal pursuits.


Preferred Education Background:

You will likely possess a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent), preferably in business, sales or marketing (or relevant field)

Preferred Years of Work Experience:    

You will likely have 2+ years of relevant experience
