Job Description

Basic Qualifications: Each team member provides professional advice and guidance in a specific domain of expertise. CMS employees need to demonstrate skills/behaviors in three areas to be effective:  

  1. Technical skills: Expertise in a specific domain (Azure, Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365 Functional, Avanade Data and AI, Automation, etc.) 

  1. Delivery skills: Ability to execute a project task etc. on time, on budget, with expected quality 

  1. Interpersonal skills: Skills that enable a team member to communicate positively and work effectively with others​ 


  1. Manage the delivery of clients assigned   

  1. Own multiple client delivery and relationships  

  1. Communicate delivery progress to key client and internal stakeholders from the operational level through executive leadership and provide detailed reviews of service disruptions, metrics, SLAs  

  1. Experience with meeting client requirements, Service Level Agreements   

  1. Plan and forecast to anticipate client needs and minimize service disruptions  

  1. Develop operational and leadership level relationships within existing and new accounts  

  1. Support client business changes while maintaining service levels and minimizing risk  

  1. Work with the customers on operational and tactical issues such as establishing change windows  

  1. Be involved in the change management process of the customers environment to ensure success and service uptime  

  1. Be the voice of the customer and work with internal Avanade CMS resources to ensure that SLAs are met 

  1. Manage and cultivate the technical relationship​ 

  1. Responsible for Service Reviews & Action items 

  1. Responsible for maintaining updated issue/risk log and review with senior leadership 

  1. Responsible for continuous improvement initiative for the client as coordinated withOperations 

  1. Responsible for account financials and cost management from the CMS perspective.
