Group Manager Modern Workplace

As a manager level Infrastructure Consultant, you will be responsible for the design and implementation of Microsoft-based products and technologies, such as Application and Server infrastructure, Cloud infrastructure, Desktop and Workplace IT infrastructure solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and test Microsoft-based infrastructure products and technologies
  • Gather business requirements and translate them into IT solutions
  • Deliver technical solutions as per specified plans, deliverables, costs and timelines
  • Work in team environments that span functional and geographic boundaries
  • Document technical issues, solutions and support information
  • Assist with opportunity development, including pre-sales

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Expertise in delivering infrastructure services based on the Microsoft platform
  • Technology consulting experience
  • Good French and English communication and writing skills
  • Ability to articulate technical issues and activities to technical and non-technical staff
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and assignments while maintaining a high level of quality
  • Positive and strong customer service focus

The candidate must have a good knowledge and practical experience with at least two of the following Microsoft products and technologies:

  • Windows server and client operating systems (Windows Server 2012 / 2008 - Windows 8 / 7)
  • Microsoft application infrastructure (Dynamics CRM & AX, Team Foundation Server)
  • Public, Private and Hybrid Cloud Technologies (Office 365, Windows Azure, System Center)
  • Enterprise infrastructure (AD, ADFS, Exchange, SQL, SharePoint)
  • Virtualization technologies (Servers and Applications)

Professional background (Education & Qualification, Years of Experience)

  • Minimum 5 years of infrastructure experience
  • Minimum 3 years of consulting experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • Industry recognized certifications and memberships is a plus (MCSE, MSTS, MSITP, etc.)
