As the Global Inclusion and Diversity (I&D) Employee Network Lead, you will amplify the power and effectiveness of our employee networks, creating safe spaces and a sense of belonging for Avanade employees. You will be accountable for building strong, collaborative partnerships with Employee Network leaders and partnering across multiple teams and departments, at all levels of the organization.  

Specifics of the role will include:  
  • Offering consultative support to global, area and regional Employee Networks
  • Managing Employee Network expansion needs and program governance
  • Ensuring support is given to fuel Employee Network growth and development
  • Promoting Avanade’s culture of allyship 
  • Collaborating with Accenture and Microsoft on Employee Network best practices
  • Planning and executing commemorative events and “days of significance” (International Women’s Day, Pride Month, Black History Month) in collaboration with Employee Networks
  • Driving accountability by measuring and analyzing results, highlighting areas of strength and areas of improvement 
  • Recognizing and respond to Employee Network needs by providing tailored strategies and solutions to enable appropriate cultural awareness and change 
  • Partnering across the organization 

Qualifications:  
  • Demonstrated ability to build effective working relationships with a diverse customer base, including outside vendors, internal senior managers and leaders, HR, consultants, etc. This includes good listening skills and the ability to address conflicts productively  
  • Demonstrated excellence in project and program management and execution, including effective presentation and facilitation skills  
  • Experience in managing vendor relationships. 
  • Strong, results-orientation and commitment to quality and performance  
  • Balances the need for global consistency with local customization, recognizing the value to each approach and finding common ground if there are differences. 
  • Multi-national or multi-cultural experience 
  • You likely have 5+ years of experience managing instructional design teams or content development teams in the e-learning space.
