Role Overview:

Avanade's Production Support Development team specializes in delivering top notch Tier-2 and Tier-3 level application support for many of the world’s largest companies. We are currently looking for a Developer to provide support for our growing number of enterprise clients. This is a great opportunity to be involved in and get exposure to various technologies such as: Angular, WPF, SharePoint, SQL Server, C# and many more. Experience with Microsoft Teams, PowerBI, PowerApps, Sharepoint Online will be definite plus.

As a Full Stack Developer you will have to performs activities in all layers of the stack, from setting up the database to programming in the back-end and the front-end you also will be involved in all stages of software, database integrations, network and hosting management, user interface, user experience, and back-end server management.

Key Role Responsibilities:

  • Assist in defining and reviewing requirements and use cases for enhancements to the application
  • Complete all appropriate documentation required by the developers, testers, and others that will maintain the application
  • Work with a team focused in development for Microsoft Teams, PowerBI, PowerApps, Sharepoint Online
  • Manage work effort of team, addressing client concerns and queries and ensuring high quality standards are maintained
  • Experience about application development, complex code development, application testing, component design
  • Experience of any specific technologies as specified by hiring manager
  • Assist in defining and reviewing requirements and use cases for enhancements to the application
  • Troubleshoot and resolve reported defects within our supported set of applications
  • Scope out and develop new features and enhancements with a previously built and supported application to meet our clients ongoing needs
  • Troubleshoot complex functionality and performance issues within large scale production environments
  • Handle incident management and operational support activities within a team
  • Prioritize and manage ticket escalation, meeting the required deadlines for ticket response and resolution
  • Investigate and triage incidents according to a defined incident management process
  • Oversee all aspects of a production environment to ensure key metrics and SLA’s are being adhered to
  • Perform application, configuration and content deployments to systems as required
  • Work within a team environment and communicate effectively amongst all team members

Key Role Skill & Capability Requirements:

  • Development experience with some or all the following technologies: Javascript, React, Angular, C#/.NET, WPF, SQL Server, Java, SharePoint and Web Technologies 
  • Experience with development in Microsoft Teams, PowerBI, PowerApps, Sharepoint Online is a plus
  • Base foundation in OOP and Database skills necessary
  • Experience working with large scale production environments requiring minimal downtime
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex system and application issues
  • Have a university degree or college diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
  • Pick up new technologies quickly, thoroughly, and confidently, based on concepts you already understand
  • Can think on their feet and thrive under pressure

Preferred Education Background:

University degree required in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field

Preferred Years of Work Experience:

1-3 years of experience working in a Production Support or Development role
