We are looking for a highly adept software engineer with cloud experience (preferably Azure) to join our team.

You will have the opportunity to work with a wide-ranging, high profile customer base across many exciting and challenging projects. This position develops and tests enterprise solutions including mobile and web applications, web services and integrations, and collaboration portals.

About the job

As a .NET Developer and consultant, you focus on crafting, developing and testing critical enterprise solutions and other custom application development projects. You will work on a variety of new software development projects, as well as maintaining existing applications when required, and you’re happy to share your programming knowledge to support your colleagues.

Day to day, you will:

  • Collaborate in all the different project phases, from defining technical, operational and user requirements, through to planning, quality control and testing
  • Build conceptual architecture and develop solution options that match your clients’ requirements
  • Partner with multi-functional technology teams to integrate solutions
  • Engage with offshore and global teams
  • Travel as required.

Your skills

You are a hardworking software developer who loves to talk about technology and share your knowledge with like-minded and non-technical audiences. Your real passion for technology is matched with good business sense and superb interpersonal skills – clients think you’re forward-thinking. You probably have up to three years of relevant experience and a bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, management information systems or a related field.

Your knowledge and skills include:

  • Developing with core Microsoft back-end technologies including .NET Framework, C#, ASP.NET, WebAPI/WCF, and SQL Server
  • Developing native Azure solutions (IaaS, PaaS, DevOps) - highly desirable
  • Developing with front-end web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript (Angular/React/Knockout) – desirable
  • Developing in SharePoint/O365 or Dynamics 365 - desirable but not mandatory
  • Working with various agile and waterfall-based delivery methodologies
  • Exploring, designing, developing, implementing and maintaining application code in a diversity of contexts
  • Developing client-specific and/or web-based software solutions
  • Application development, complex code development, application testing and component design
  • Working with clients as well as global and offshore teams
