About the job 

As an Infrastructure Consultant, you build modern and powerful applications, guiding your clients on the architecture and implementation of sophisticated software applications. You build the processes, procedures and tools that transform businesses, working with our technology and design teams to build fully coordinated technology, operations, strategies and solutions. 

Day to day, you will: 

  • Be a part of all project phases – Plan, Analyze, Design, Build and Test 
  • Help define and establish IT operations, processes, procedures and tool sets to handle and maintain client solutions 
  • Develop, modify and improve client infrastructure solutions 
  • Support systems integration testing, component integration testing and user acceptance testing 
  • Support project change management 
  • Travel as required. When traveling, it is 80% of the work week.  


Your skills 

  • You’re passionate about IT and you want to utilize your technical skills to solve real-world business problems. 
  • You are likely to have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, Information Technology or similar. 
  • You have at least two years’ meaningful experience in systems engineering and/or infrastructure, including meaningful training and education. 
  • We will help you attain your Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate certification in Windows Server 2012 and your Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert certification in Server Infrastructure within two years of starting with us. 


Your skills and experience include: 

  • Knowledge of core Microsoft platforms, including SQL, Exchange, and Hyper-V 
  • Infrastructure solutions (more specifically Microsoft), 
  • Cloud technologies, networking, data center operations, platform migration and enterprise directories 


Operation management, systems security, testing, databases and mobility considerations 

  • Some client consulting or project work 
  • Good communications and presentation skills and a high standard of written English.
