Job Description

Do you view data as an art and a science? So do we.

Data is more than information; in the right hands, it’s a valuable currency that can build fortunes. We’ll give you the tools to turn insight into extraordinary experiences for people and their machines.

About you

You put analytics into play, using insight as the common thread between machine learning and human experiences. You’re on top of emerging and established technologies and can support the design of experiences that are centered on humans as well as machines.

You have a passion for learning teamed with good business sense and time management and can manage your clients' expectations effectively. You have earned a bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field and have one to two years of academic experience in your field.

About the role

On its own, data holds relatively little value. Data’s worth lies in how it’s used and analyzed; how people and machines respond to the insights it generates. That’s where you come in. We need your analytical mind to sort through data’s endless possibilities and help design seamless experiences for analyzing and using data.

You’ll be practicing at the top of your field, considering experiences from a human and technological viewpoint. You’ll play a key role in discovering and solving issues facing businesses in the digital age, identifying trends, predicting outcomes and presenting your findings.

Day to day, you will:

Support project teams in developing client solutions that are passionate about exploratory data analysis

Use your knowledge of statistics, programming, data modelling, simulation and advanced mathematics to recognize patterns, see opportunities, pose business questions and make valuable discoveries that lead to better business decision-making

Carry out data analysis tests in line with strategies

Communicate analysis results and recommendations to team members and clients

Provide input and mentorship on data visualization techniques and opportunities

Travel as required – at times could be 80% of the work week.

Your skills

You have experience working with data mining, analysis and modeling large-scale, complex datasets. You know your way around analytics and statistical models and can communicate methodologies and concepts in non-technical language. You excel at analysis, whether it’s statistical, quantitative, predictive, or optimization, and you’re confident in visual data tools, such as Power BI, Qlik or Tableau.

You probably have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business or Information Technology, or another relevant field (but we’d also be happy with the equivalent of around 2 years’ professional experience). We’d love it if you’ve worked with clients before.
