Growth & Strategy Director, Advisory

About you

You can envision high level strategy and manage execution on the ground. You analyze information to develop informed recommendations to complex issues, and you’re influential and persuasive when defending your advice to leadership.

You’re intellectually curious and determined, digging into the detail with a clear view of the big picture, figuring out the best way to deliver a strategy. Your strong interpersonal skills make you the crucial link between various project partners, ensuring everyone is working in sync and towards their strategic goals.

About the Job

We know that establishing a strategy is one thing; delivering it is quite another. Within our Growth & Strategy team, you'll get to do both. You’ll be defining our strategy and helping everyone understand what that means for them and how they can achieve it.

Working in Growth & Strategy, we want to know what you think. You'll lead complex, strategic projects to help us grow – which could be organically or through acquisitions and partnerships. Your leadership is the connection between our strategy, our operations and what we deliver for our clients.

As well as transforming our business, you’ll also be building our teams.

To bring our strategy to life, you will:

Support our strategic planning process, as shaped by our executive’s and board member’s objectives

Research and make recommendations for strategic development

Help key business segments interpret and localize high-level strategies

Define how we measure the success of our strategic initiatives

Build your own work plans to guide projects from initial idea to sign-off by project partners

Translate strategies into objectives and help others make sure their work is aligned with our strategies

Travel, as needed.

Your skills

With your excellent communication skills, you can analyze and simply explain complex strategy so others can understand their role in delivering it. You also have a Bachelor’s degree or higher, backed by the knowledge you’ve gained in six to eight years of experience in business strategy or consulting – with at least two years as a manager.

Ideally, you’ll have:

Plenty of experience using the Microsoft Office suite of applications

Confidence and flexibility – you’re just as comfortable working individually as you are leading teams or working within one

Mentorship skills to help junior colleagues develop their careers

Influential interpersonal skills to build a stronger understanding of growth and strategy across our business.
