About the Role:

As a Delivery leader at the Enterprise clients' site, you are responsible for assessment, diagnosis, crafting and mapping business processes to the application. You are able to work with diverse set of client environments and multiple vertical industries with a tendency to dive deep with 1 major client at a time. Your chosen speciality is Enterprise resource planning (ERP) where you have successfully designed, customized, developed, deployed, and integrated enterprise ERP business application solutions. Of course we'd love your main ERP focus to be Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations.

You will be responsible for successful delivery of D365 implementation projects to Avanade clients through your skillful organization, management and monitoring of people, methodologies and technologies throughout the project life cycle. Project Scope decisions, teams to build, tough decisions to make, people to develop? All Yours. Hopefully you get the picture. Our Delivery Managers work closely with both internal Avanade team members and third party partners. From requirements-gathering through full implementation you demonstrate capacity to encourage and sustain delivery of quality work with an eye on both timing and finances. We'd want you to identify and implement improvement initiatives, processes and tools that support improvements in productivity, efficiency, issue resolution and cost to benefit the our Enterprise clients.

Day-to-day, you will also:

Assist with business development activities and thought leadership in support of common objectives and priorities

Develop, implement and maintain a detailed project work plan, including traceable requirements, appropriate controls, governance structures and monitoring to ensure on-time, on-budget and quality outcomes

Develop and implement change-management and change-enablement processes throughout your project's duration

You contribute to the sales process, lending your expertise (the art and science) of estimating future work efforts and expenses using Avanade's standard tools and methodologies.

Engage and partner with appropriate onshore, offshore and near-shore workforces, including Service Licensing Agreements (SLAs).

About you

You are an experienced leader of Complex ERP Implementation projects. You should have expertise in Dynamics 365 and the lifecycle of planning, implementing and maintaining such solutions. You likely have around ten years of relevant ERP experience and five years of managing complex teams of business and technical resources.

You have a track record demonstrating key proficiencies including:

Business process design, systems configuration, application development, testing, localization and deployment

Consulting to external clients on complex projects, including leadership roles and excellence interfacing with key clients and Executive teams

You're a gifted communicator and can present complex information to technical and business partners, both verbally and in written form.

You likely have a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (we have a preference for IT) and ideally you've secured your PMP Certification
