Job Description

Region: North America 

Job Summary 

This role is responsible for generating, qualifying, and closing leads working closely with our partner ecosystem and marketing. This role will also coach and mentor digital sales analysts to include joining client and partner calls, assisting with call plans and guiding them through their sales enablement journey.

Lead Generation and Qualification Responsibilities 

 

  • Develop a healthy pipeline and source new sales opportunities by cold calling, emailing, following up on marketing campaigns and responding to marketing qualified leads. 

  • Qualify leads from either marketing or dedicated sales development teams for further development and closure.       

  • Engage prospects through relevant channels such as digital and social media, events, campaigns, queries, email and webinars with a view to developing them into sales qualified leads.  

 

Sales Conversion Responsibilities 

  • Pursue and close sales qualified leads (SQLs) to achieve quota targets. 

  • Identify and establish relationships with new business prospects. 

  • Deliver commercial insight, manage customer objections and suitably position our offerings to maximize sales.  

  • Be aware of competitor offerings and positioning and use them to inform the selling pitch. 

 

Data Management and Analysis Responsibilities 

  • Follow and analyze industry trends to identify selling opportunities and/or impact on prevailing sales efforts. 

  • Develop prospect call preparation intelligence including company background research and other pertinent lead information. 

  • Identify customer buying trends.  

  • Enter, update and maintain CRM information on leads, prospects and opportunities. 

  • Assist with the preparation of digital sales reports. 

  • Maintain market knowledge including competitive products, pricing and policies. 

  • Maintain data quality and confidentiality.  

 

Collaboration Responsibilities 

  • Coordinate with marketing and partners to ensure brand consistency in customer outreach efforts. 

  • Coordinate with associated sales manager to align selling efforts. 

  • Establish and maintain a working relationship with channel partners. 

  • Share qualified leads with the broader team. Ensure follow up by passing leads to appropriate team members with suitable calls to action. 

  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to generate leads through a variety of integrated tactics. 

 

Skills and Experiences 

Required Skills and Experiences 

  • 3+ inside sales or business development experience.  

  • 2+ years of industry experience. 

  • 2+ years of sales management experience. 

  • Proven success with high-volume outbound calling and prospecting. 

  • Knowledge in carrying/exceeding quotas. 

  • Demonstrated competency in prospecting, lead qualification and lead closing. 

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

  • Comfortable thriving in a KPI-driven (high volume) setting through phone/consulting sales, while also navigating operational and administrative tasks. 

  • Relevant industry/domain experience. 

  • Comfortable in selling to all levels of an organization. 

 

Educational Background 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Marketing, Professional Sales, Engineering and/or Information Technology.
