Digital Marketing – Digital Marketing Specialist

The Digital team work closely with Avanade’s enterprise clients to design and deploy customer centric solutions that focus on improving customer experience across pre-sales (Digital Marketing), sale and service (CRM) at every touch-point. 

Our engagements employ leading digital experience, industry trends, customer-journey mapping, organisational assessments and other techniques to deliver high-impact recommendations. Implementing scalable technology platforms and solutions is a major part of enabling desired digital experiences.

The Digital Marketing Strategist will lead shaping digital marketing strategies and delivering marketing solutions to our clients in the Marketing Execution area. Activities will include conducting discovery, documentation, design and implementation of marketing solutions in the areas of campaign management, personalisation and marketing automation.

You will have hands on experience with developing marketing strategies, planning and executing marketing programs and campaigns throughout digital, online, and live marketing channels. Additionally, you will have experience of utilising marketing software such as Adobe Marketing Cloud to implement campaign workflows, implement personalisation, and measure performance of campaigns.

This is a European role. You will work with multi-disciplinary teams of digital strategists, experience designers and experience technologists. You will have experience of delivering marketing and/or CX initiatives utilising design led and agile methodologies, with understanding of marketing technologies, digital experience and customer engagement platforms (e.g., Adobe Marketing Cloud, and Microsoft Dynamics365 CRM,). 

Day-to-day, you will: 
Lead digital marketing engagements with our clients including discovery, documentation, instrumentation, and mentoring.
Help our clients develop multi-channel marketing strategies, and utilise marketing technologies to bring efficiencies, agility, and accuracy in execution and KPI measurement
Help our clients develop content and personalisation strategies to deliver next generation of customer experience
Support our clients by helping them to shape and set up multi-channel campaign workflows, performance reports, success KPIs
Support developing Avanade’s go-to-markets in the areas of digital marketing, content, personalisation strategy, marketing automation, and performance management
Liaising with clients to explain their performance reports and to advise them of the actions and tasks they need to complete to successfully deliver their marketing strategies
Interlock with the global centre of excellence on development of best practices and point of view papers in the areas of digital marketing, marketing automation, campaign management

What You Need To Succeed
Proven conceptual knowledge of digital marketing platforms, content management systems, browser applications, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), social media, and/or mobile and web analytics tools
Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate complex marketing strategies and relevant information to a diverse group of stakeholders and non-technical audiences
Experience with planning, and executing large scale multi-channel marketing campaigns across digital and non-digital channels
Ideally, previous experience of working with Digital Marketing and Customer Experience Management platforms such as Adobe Marketing Cloud, Microsoft Dynamics 365, etc.
Ideally, previous Tag Management experience, preferably with Dynamic Tag Manager or Google Tag Manager
Knowledge of MVT and A/B tests
Expertise across the following industries: Financial Services, Retail / eCommerce, CPG, Media & Entertainment, Telecommunications, Travel & Hospitality, Healthcare, High Tech
Strong executive presence and communication skills, with ability to engage, advise and inspire senior executives
Ability to build, lead and coordinate cross-functional / technical teams
High degree of intellectual curiosity and ability to absorb new concepts quickly
High level of energy, personal drive, and positivism
