Position Purpose:

The Data and AI Marketing Lead within the Global Solutions and Industry Marketing team will lead:

  • Be the global data and AI marketing subject matter expert (SME), able to outline the market landscape of solutions and competitors, so you can provide guidance to field marketing, sales and other stakeholders

  • Work closely with core business and area leadership for Data and AI to align and support business and marketing plans at global, area and regional levels across strategy, design, delivery, and Data and AI managed services.

  • Continually drive the “Voice of the Customer” using “outside in” approaches to message, story and asset development

  • Take ownership of the Data and AI marketing messages that differentiate Avanade in the market

  • Partner with the Global Demand Center team and support them as they drive your vision to generate demand through the Future Ready. Now. Marketing Campaign

  • Deepen market development through engagement with the analyst community, influential industry organizations, Press, and social media

  • Develop market insight research to both better understand market drivers related to data and AI and to validate marketing messages with target buyers

  • Being able to work in virtual and cross functional teams against a common goal, which will include other marketing functions (industry, partners, alliances, communications) as well as those outside of marketing

  • Close collaboration with Accenture and Microsoft as the power behind the Accenture Microsoft Business Group to ensure data and AI alignment and position with our parent companies’ strategies and programs.

The individual will report to the Director of Global Solution and Industry Marketing.

This leader will be aligned to the Data and AI Market Unit solution area and will collaborate with Business Units, Consulting, Corporate, field marketing and sellers, industry, partner and alliance marketing teams to ensure the Data and AI strategy is closely integrated with and supportive of Avanade’s business strategy, the respective market unit priorities and other relevant global marketing strategies in market.

Experience, qualifications and attributes

  • 15 years relevant experience. Product and/or Solution Marketing roles within software or technology service providers is highly valued.

  • A marketer first, that is passionate and able to quickly grasp and communicate the marketing implications of an ever-evolving technology landscape

  • You will be a team player, comfortable with a servant-leader approach, able to bring energy and enthusiasm to your work

  • Be able to demonstrate a strong knowledge of the data and AI space, competitor go-to-market strategies, and core solution and technology categories within Avanade’s workplace business

  • Proven track record in leading messaging development, engagement with analyst community, and driving product or solution marketing

  • Relevant MBA or equivalent experience
