Exciting opportunity for an established Services Sales Professional
We are looking for an experienced Services Solution Sales Professional with a focus on Cloud & Application Services who will help us accelerate the implementation of our vision in the Dutch market. 

Working at leadership level, you will be responsible for positioning and selling Cloud and Application Services solutions to new and established clients. You will have a focus on helping customers with their journey to the cloud and the related transformation in their IT landscape and business processes. You will build strong relationships with both internal and partner account teams and with senior-level client representatives to position solutions that address their primary business objectives.

What will be your challenge?
As a Services Solution Sales Professional for Cloud & Application Services, you are responsible for the further growth of our services and the correct positioning of the added value of Avanade C&AS capabilities in the Dutch market. The role will have a major focus on Cloud; helping clients to move to Microsoft Azure (Journey to Cloud) and realize maximum business value from Azure.

You’ll play a key role in discovering, describing and co-creating a customer’s Journey to Cloud. This involves identifying which business processes should be digitalized and can maximize client returns. You will develop the solution vision and make it industry or client specific. You co-create the roadmap and approach with the customer and Microsoft and convert the roadmap to a program and/or project.
You will not do this on your own. You work together with our Account Leads, Pre-sales Consultants and Marketing professional to jointly turn new opportunities into concrete assignments.You are responsible for winning new assignments by developing and expanding relationships with existing and new customers in both the Enterprise and Upper Mid-Market segments. 

You are a hunter and self-starter with a ‘can-do’ mentality generating new opportunities for both the short and the long term. These opportunities are primarily business led, and as such, you must have a business mindset and ability to think along with clients around their business priorities and challenges. You will translate these into tangible solutions and you are able to explain the value it will bring to clients.

In this role you are end-to-end responsible for the entire sales cycle; from origination to deal review and from negotiations to contract-closing. This role requires an experienced seller with an extensive network of clients and influencers that you can use in the Dutch market. Simultaneously, you produce results in the short term and keep an eye on the long-term development of strategic objectives. 

Role responsibilities

Your responsibilities include (but are not limited to): 
  • Achieving the annual Cloud & Application Services sales and revenue targets;
  • Developing and implementing a business development strategy to achieve growth while collaborating with Marketing, Pre-Sales and Delivery; 
  • Managing and owning the overall business development process and sales cycle, from origination to closure;
  • Initiating Cloud & Application Services specific marketing programs together with the Marketing team; 
  • Maintaining relationships with Accenture and Microsoft around the client portfolio managed by you, build joint sales initiatives, and keep us at the forefront as their leading tech partner;
  • Defining the structure and content of bid-responses, including being an individual contributor to bid content and giving presentations;
  • Contribute to account planning for key accounts;
  • Leading client engagements from a commercial perspective;
  • Work close together with the pre-sales consultants and architects;
  • Stay market relevant in the quick changing world of Microsoft Azure

You understand the business value of Cloud and Application Services and the opportunity for clients to gain advantage from it. You are an experienced individual contributor with previous experience and demonstrable commercial success within the Dutch Cloud & Application Services marketplace.

In short you have:
  • An established IT services and solutions sales career, and a proven sales track record on demonstrable results.
  • A strong understanding of information technology and business and you can converse fluently over the full C&AS landscape, including the journey to cloud.
  • The ability to tailor customer needs with the services of a consulting company.
  • Excellent communication skills including comfort presenting at CxO level and the ability to lead the development of marketing collateral and bid content. 
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to manage the negotiation of complex Cloud & Application Services solution deals (>EUR 1m+).
  • A good network in the Dutch market that you can leverage.
  • Affinity with Microsoft and technical understanding of its Infrastructure and Cloud solutions.
  • Fluency in both Dutch and English.
