Do you create change that reinvents organizations? So do we.

Change doesn't have to be hard. You make technology adoption look easy, leading teams and helping teams picture their ideal destination and guiding them through the journey to get there. We'll give you the people, tools and tech to truly impact employee experiences and make a real difference in our digital world.

About you

You're a strategic thinker who knows what motivates people. You face uncertainty calmly and can guide a group with confidence. You love having oversight of the design and implementation of change initiatives and are driven by realizing results. With your persuasive interpersonal skills and your belief in the power of change, you get everyone excited about moving in a new direction. You prioritize what's important, focus on positives, and know what it takes for a company to leap forward.

About the job

Even organizations committed to change find it hard to make it happen. That's why we need you. As a Change Enablement Consultant, you will be assigned to oversee internal change initiatives for the Avanade Information Technology Services (ITS) group as the ITS Change Enablement Team Lead. You will lead the design and implementation of change initiatives at the program level, supporting the strategic goals of the Chief Information & Security Officer, as well as manage specific change projects in your portfolio: from supporting technology projects with awareness and adoption programs, to telling the ITS transformation stories to the rest of the organization and our clients.

The main purpose of the role is to support Avanade employees with Change Enablement processes, as well as communications and awareness efforts, to ensure they understand how to work productively and digitally with the technology resources available to them. You and your team empower every Avanade employee to become digital workers, helping ensure that projects are delivered on time and with measurable outcomes.

You'll work with a great team of people and oversee the quality of their work as they support your change initiatives. While managing projects, you'll also be mentoring and supporting junior colleagues in their work. We'll be counting on your expertise to move your internal clients' transformation programs forward.

Day to day, you'll be:

  • Coordinating team resourcing as it relates to project demand and program priorities
  • Managing work plan inclusive of Change Management activities and communicating the ITS story across the enterprise
  • Ensuring Change Management deliverables are completed to a high level of quality and on schedule
  • Monitoring, controlling, and reporting Change Management progress and risks to program leadership in accordance with project protocol
  • Engaging in collaborative and constructive client dialogue to evaluate progress against program objectives
  • Maintaining effective and trusting working client relationships to facilitate program success and expansion
  • The key contact for your clients
  • Managing, producing and supporting the production of the Change Enablement deliverables to meet program objectives:
  1. Change impact assessment and change strategy
  2. Stakeholder and leadership assessment, engagement and alignment
  3. Communication strategy, plan and create/design communications
  4. Training strategy, plan and create/design learning content
  5. Behavioral change adoption strategy, plan and content
  6. Change adoption measurement
