Job Description

About the role 

As the Business Solutions Architect - ERP, you will be responsible for driving revenue through assisting sales with prospecting, qualificationclient project acquisition, development, and expansion of customer opportunities for Avanade’s Business Applications Market Unit in the Manufacturing/Supply Chain and Oil & Gas Industry. You will help develop and execute sales strategies, create compelling solution demonstrations, drive proposal efforts, and provide technical sales support specializing in vertical Industry Solutions. You will provide deep expertise in lead qualification, opportunity assessment, opportunity development and proposal development. You will work closely with Avanade’s Offering Development, Marketing and Regional Market Unit Teams, Accenture, Microsoft, and Solution Alliance Partners in North America to achieve Avanade business growth and client success. Opportunity to grow into a leadership role, including driving technical thought leadership and taking on people management responsibilities 

About You: 

You have a deep understanding of: 

  • Vertical Industry and Market Trends for Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Oil & Gas (Upstream, Midstream, Downstream and Oilfield Services) 
  • Competitive Environment understanding and how our Value Proposition is superior 
  • Development of Solution IP / Rapid Deployment methods and best practices 
  • Primary functional and technical contact on a client engagement 
  • Design, organize and deliver client facing, industry specific “Art of the Possible” with all the technology at your disposal. 
  • Operate in a senior technology advisory capacity and senior leadership manner 
  • Learn our client's business and their organization, systems, challenges and goals 
  • Participate and lead partner brainstorming, technical planning, and design sessions. You're not just a passive observer, but an active seeker and facilitator 
  • Lead client facing & internal training (technology training and/or application specific training) 

Your desired experience includes: 

Deep functional and technical acumen and understanding of Microsoft ERP-Finance & Operations in the Manufacturing, Supply Chain or Oil and Gas industry 

You have a bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Sales or Marketing
