Job Description

As a part of our Global Solution Areas Team, the Business Solution Architect - D365 F&O will focus on the pre-sales support of the Manufacturing Industry Segment. They will be a key member of the Avanade Go to Market Teams and leverage relevant industry experience to drive measurable growth through development and expansion of client opportunities.

 

As a Part of a Collaborative and Entrepreneurial Team, You Will:

  •  Develop and execute pre-sales strategies, drive proposal efforts, and provide pre-sales support
  • Provide deep expertise in lead qualification, opportunity assessment, opportunity development, proposal development, and proof of concept creation as it relates to ERP opportunities in Manufacturing
  • Act as the primary Dynamics and Industry Subject Matter Expert on client engagements
  • Create proof of concepts and lead demonstrations that solves our clients’ business problems
  • Consult and advise our clients and internal stakeholders on uses of technology to solve problems
  • Execute strategic engagements and lead Architecture Design Sessions (ADS)
  • Design, scope, organize, and deliver training events for both client-facing and internal needs
  • Operate in a senior technology advisory capacity to CxOs and their senior leadership
  • Learn our client's business, their organization, systems, challenges, and goals
  • Participate in, and lead stakeholder brainstorming, planning, and design sessions
  • Craft the technical vision by mapping requirements to technical solutions and technical design documents
  • Build prototypes and proofs of concept (POC) to validate technical and solution decisions
  • Lead client facing and internal training (technology training and/or application specific training)
  • Support more than one project concurrently (2-3 projects at a maximum)

 

Desired Experience:

  • Experience in growing and leading the presales process for large scale, highly profitable technology engagements, preferably with multi-country scope
  • Experience in working in international roles and across multiple countries and complex cultures
  • Experience working with or inside the Microsoft ecosystem
  • Strong personal track record in selling and closing large complex deals
  • Proven track record operating as a player/coach – accountable for driving specific deals while also being a deal coach and mentor to pursuit team
  • Strong track record in complex channel and partner management
  • Experience in assessing and managing the opportunity and risk associated with large scale complex services/consulting engagements
  • CxO impact and the ability to develop and grow long term, high value customer relationships at the Executive level
  • Superior communication and personal leadership skills in a high growth, highly demanding 'best people' environment
  • Demonstrates a high degree of integrity, credibility, resilience, and character
  • Deep understanding of Manufacturing
