Role Overview

As the Admin Support to the Business Manager to the Global CEO & Chief of Staff of Avanade, you will be required to provide support in a one to one working relationship and also directly to the Chief of Staff.  You will be part of a small and dynamic team within a worldwide organisation.  While BM and CoS  are primarily responsible for all incoming, internal and external requests, the Admin Support will be exposed to many materials and treat all matters in a positive, energetic and professional manner. 

The Admin Support must be a creative person that enjoys working in a small, entrepreneurial environment whilst appreciating the largesse of the company, its parents and all objectives.  This person must be results driven and community oriented and be willing to take on special projects pertaining to the Office of the CEO.  

The ideal individual will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations with strong administrative and organisational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities. The Admin Support will have the opportunity, in time, to work independently on projects, from conception to completion, and must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with absolute discretion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver highest quality admin support to the CEO’s & Chief of Staff’s offices,
  • A high degree of confidentiality maintaining privacy of all tasks performed under the umbrella of the CEO’s office.
  • Assisting in the management of very active calendars for both CEO (under guidance of BM) and Chief of Staff.
  • Assisting in the support of global and domestic travel planning including itinerary/schedule/agenda, flights, hotels as needed.
  • Supporting BM on meeting and event planning in accordance with established policies and procedures within the organisation.
  • Other position details
    • May take on special projects linked to the Office of the CEO
    • May assist in compilation of presentation decks for the Chief of Staff
    • May need to perform records management, tracking and maintaining documents, distribution lists, team sites etc

Years of Experience: Minimum 5 years experience within a busy office environment.


Other Skills/Knowledge: 

  • Excel, Power Point, Skype For Business, as well as willingness to learn new internal systems operated daily within Avanade.
  • Specific understanding of working across multiple time zones and capable of managing own time well.
  • Highly organized, efficient and focused on high quality service delivery
