As a Talent Acquisition Engagement Recruiter, you are responsible for attracting top talent from key competitors.  You are the face of the Avanade brand in the market, bringing the Avanade story to life in an authentic and personal way for candidates. You ensure our recruiting processes are equitable, efficient, and effective.  You also ensure everything we do demonstrates Avanade’s culture of innovation and inclusion.  Candidate experience is your central focal point. Organization, follow-up, and storytelling are crucial to your overall success. 

 

In this Role, You Will:

  • Partner with senior stakeholders to focus on the identification, engagement, and recruitment of technology-focused professionals
  • Build and leverage long term relationships with internal Avanade leadership and external professionals across the technology space with the goal of creating a long-term pipeline of talent for Avanade
  • Focus on diversity and inclusion to align with Avanade's hiring goals
  • Consult and partner with leadership and candidates to ensure a successful candidate experience
  • Advance any roadblocks or issues to relevant stakeholders
  • Deliver weekly status reports on recruitment progress
  • Use our ATS system efficiently and effectively

 

Your Skillset Includes:

  • A growth mindset
  • Full lifecycle recruiting at all levels and across multiple skillsets
  • Experience partnering with leadership to successfully recruit and hire talent
  • Ability to engage with passive candidates, providing them with guidance around Avanade's business model and environment
  • Knowledge of general recruiting principles and practices with demonstrated experience in developing strategic recruiting plans 
  • Desire to be a strategic advisor, building and maintaining relationships with colleagues and customers
  • Sense of urgency and desire to constantly elevate performance
  • Great presentation and communication skills, as well as active listening and storytelling skills

 

Additional Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, HR, or Business or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in a retained or external search organization partnering with top tier professional services or technology firms preferred
  • Knowledge of Microsoft technology preferred
