The South Region Business Applications Industry Lead (RBAIL) for Products (manufacturing, consumer goods, construction) is responsible for the overall strategy, vision, performance, and growth of the Region Business Applications (ERP and CRM) market for Avanade. The RBAIL understands the market opportunity for Avanade in the industry, designs the industry strategy, and works with key stakeholders across the organization to implement the strategy and drive performance for Avanade.

The Region Business Applications Industry Lead sits within the Region Business Applications Leadership team working closely with our North America Business Applications Industry team and Region Client Group team to represent Avanade’s capabilities and solutions in their industry to our Enterprise and Middle Market clients and Business Applications alliance partners (Microsoft, Accenture, ISVs). The RBAIL works directly with the Region Client Group team on pursuits and engagements that realize our industry vision for our clients and set the direction for repeatable and transformational work.

What You’ll Do:

Market and Strategy Development – Collaborate with North America Business Applications Industry team to identify opportunities and develop a Region Business Applications strategy for the market to strengthen our position with existing and prospective clients and amplify our alignment with Microsoft and Accenture Business Applications. The strategy must balance the need to support our legacy business with new business to capitalize on the full market potential:

·       Identify and develop the plan to address areas of market opportunity.

·       Creating the business case and/or executive support to incubate and scale new industry propositions.

·       Communicate the industry strategy to key stakeholders in the Region including the Client Group and Sales leaders.

·       Ensure a continuous feedback loop with Client Group Leads to capture region/client feedback to iterate the strategy.

Go to Market (GTM) – Engage with North America Business Applications Industry team and Region Client Group to drive industry-led strategies and GTM propositions for our solutions:

·       Drive and own the relationships with Microsoft and Accenture Business Applications industry leaders and sales teams at the Region level, including regular rhythm of business communications.

·       Drive the management of industry demand generation targets including monitoring performance and adapting GTM strategies.

·       Collaborate with the North America Business Applications Industry team in authoring go to market content, inclusive of starter decks, use cases and credentials. Support curation of a comprehensive set of industry-specific assets, including specific GTM content and tailored value propositions.

·       Collaborate with the North America Business Applications Industry team in the co-creation of an industry marketing plan with our Marketing team to build brand awareness in the industry and to promote the key areas of Avanade differentiation.

·       Educate and support the Client Group team to drive and promote solutions to target clients.

·       Identify whitespace industry opportunities that will truly transform Avanade client’s business through and with the power of Business Applications

·      Act as a Region thought leader for the industry through support of marketing campaigns and events.

Sales – Collaborate with North America Business Applications Industry team and Region Client Group team to develop winning proposals that demonstrate the value and differentiation that Avanade brings to clients, and engage with clients to drive our industry success:

·       Support Region teams in management of industry sales targets including monitoring performance and adapting strategies.

·       Drive and support client pursuits and engagements and meet market utilization targets.

Solution and Play Strategy – Partner with North America Business Applications Industry team to develop industry use-cases, Plays and go-to-market propositions that differentiate Avanade:

·       Ensure Industry use cases and Plays address identified market challenges for the industry.

·       Prioritize potential industry use-cases and Plays that are most relevant to meet company sales targets.

·       Review industry use-case and Play performance against targets and adapt strategies as needed.

Industry Capabilities – Collaboration with Region Practice Leads to drive our focus by growing and supporting industry capabilities across the Region:

·       Identify the industry skills and capabilities needed to sell and deliver solutions to our clients and support hiring and training program development to address gaps.

·       Identify and engage people across the organization with industry experience to support the development of Region sales and delivery capabilities.

The challenge is to capture the right balance between the need to support our legacy business with new opportunities to capitalize on the full market potential.

Skills and Experiences:

·       Deep industry experience and track record in market/strategy development and execution.

·       Proven track record of building, positioning, selling, and delivering industry-centric use cases, value propositions and solutions with Microsoft Dynamics platforms and complimentary Microsoft technologies.

·       Leadership track record in developing and growing long term, high value client relationships.

·       Ability to effectively team with/and influence peers in a large, matrixed organization.

·       Strong consulting / project-based background, including assessing and managing the opportunity and risk associated with large scale, complex projects.

·       Education and/or experience in the relevant field/business/industry

·       Advanced level of relevant technology business leadership experience, including solution sales, GTM creation, delivery, and business management.
