Our Applications & Infrastructure (A&I) team is focused on helping our clients realize the value of the cloud and in modernizing their approach to software, infrastructure, and product development.
As a Solution Architect within our A&I Solution Area focused on our West clients, you will work with our sales team and your A&I peers to transform opportunities into executing projects. You will be involved in all facets of the sales process, including lead generation, demo creation, creation and presentation of sales decks, scoping, estimating, and pricing deals, contract creation, responses to RFPs and transition of projects from sales into delivery.
The successful candidate will be a Swiss Army Knife of a human being: with a wide breadth of knowledge across Cloud and custom application development, and an insatiable hunger to learn new things.
Your primary day-to-day tasks will include:
- Solutioning deals with our Sales team (estimate work, build solution plans, create contracts)
- Providing support to our Regional Offering Leads
- Delivering projects for our clients as needed
About you
You have a track record in delivering excellence for our clients. Your peers see you as a technical leader. You’re adept at communications (both written and verbal) and enjoy helping your peers and our clients to solve problems with innovative solutions. You keep yourself up to date with the latest and greatest Azure features. You are a self-starter who thrives in an environment of ambiguity and personal space.
Key Role Skill & Capability Requirements
- Deep knowledge of Azure infrastructure, Containers, DevOps and agile delivery methodologies
- An understanding of enterprise cloud architecture, governance, and security
- Experience estimating work and creating solution architectures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management skills with comfort juggling several tasks at once
You likely possess a Bachelor's degree in Business or technology-related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. An advanced degree or MBA is strongly preferred, particularly technical (IT, engineering, or related).
Compensation for roles at Avanade varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Avanade provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York, and Washington as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here.
Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role
California: $192,000-$236,000
Colorado: $174,000-$205,000
Washington: $200,000-$236,000
