Sr. Technical Platform Architect


About the job:


Our clients' needs are the foundation from which you will build extraordinary architecture. You will provide the vision and oversight for developing new and improved software products, and foster a culture where people turn to you for advice. You will be defining system, technical and application architectures and making sure we stay on the right track, maintaining our cost-effectiveness and competitiveness. You are involved in our business initiatives and objectives and can relate these to infrastructure and development architecture.

While defining the architecture, you will be working closely with our solution architects and delivery leads. As you will be in the lead for the overall (technical) architecture, you will play a key role in defining and delivering the most optimal solution for our customers, based on available cutting-edge technologies. By doing so, you will make sure the customer's requirements are met and properly aligned with the customers themselves.

As part of our Digital Transformation ambition, this role will focus on not only ERP technologies, but the wider Microsoft Platform including not only integrations with other Dynamics products, but also cloud architecture in Azure services.

  • Deploy ERP architecture by recommending hardware and software solutions, tools and utilities; establishing workflows and business rules; setting standards and guidelines; testing simulations and managing demo-environments; and resolving problems
  • Participate and lead customer workshops to capture requirements and translate them into an architectural design
  • Offer technical support on solution roadmap and upgrade scripts
  • Take responsibility for the overall quality of customizations, software architecture and technical installation
  • Connect analysts and programmers to maintain solutions
  • Capture the technical design of a solution or product
  • Validate the technical feasibility of functional designs and convert them into technical designs or delegate to the development lead/team
  • Design the technical architecture for integrating between ERP and other applications, including third-party packages and modules
  • Stay up-to-date on new technologies and Microsoft product roadmaps, with special attention to Dynamics 365 and Azure (Integration) Services

Ideally, your experience will also include:


  • Leading projects that involve significant coordination, with the freedom to use your own judgment
  • Using your excellent interpersonal skills to win clients, build teams and give persuasive written and verbal presentations
  • Deep knowledge of integrations with Dynamics 365 and integration platforms like Azure Integration Services and Power Platform
  • Knowledge of .NET framework, which you can use to implement solutions related to but outside Dynamics 365 itself
  • Working knowledge of at least one software development methodology, as well as Microsoft Project skills.
