Senior Full Stack Developer

Job Description:

[MULTIPLE POSITIONS]: Avanade Inc. seeks Senior Full Stack Developers in Columbus, OH to perform software development on project teams throughout the software development lifecycle of the project or for a specific duration. You will: develop front-end UI applications, back-end API services, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and other software application components primarily on the Microsoft technology stack according to the business and technical requirements of the project; produce and develop design documentation for software components; review other project team members' code and provide guidance to other project team members; develop software applications using server-side, front-end technologies; target on-prem or cloud hosted environments; provide technical expertise to conversations, making suggestions for how to solve problems in ways that align with the project's architecture; provide estimations for work effort to complete software design and development tasks; and conduct development team meetings and meet with client business subject matter experts, functional designers, architects, application developers, and testers to design and develop solutions. Travel is presently restricted to client-essential activity only but may increase based on business needs (overnight domestic/international). Must live w/in reasonable commuting distance of Columbus, OH. Avanade requires all employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of employment. Basic Qualifications:

The position requires at least a bachelor’s degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer or Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer or Electrical Engineering, or a related technical or quantitative field, and at least five (5) years of post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered, or as a Software Engineer or Software Developer, or in a similar role within the IT or IT consulting industry. A qualified applicant’s professional experience must include: 5 years of experience in software programming using C#, .NET or Java stack; 3 years of experience in UI development using Angular, React or other modern UI framework; 5 years of experience working with SQL Server or other similar relational databases; 3 years of experience using Git and dev-ops tools, such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, Maven or GitHub Labs; 3 years of experience using NuGet and/or npm to work with library and package management; and 3 years of experience using Agile development process concepts to develop applications.
