As an Enterprise (Solution) Architect within Advisory, you would be playing key roles in the presale activities, including public presentations, driving customer workshops, envision and defining integrated solution, road mapping and estimations. You work with your sales team and technical consultants to understand client challenges, define the right (integrated) solution, support in closing the sales, kick-starting the project, defining the roadmap, helping in envisioning the integrated solution and guiding as QA for the long-term implementation.
Next to that, you know which solution is the right one for the project, work closely with program managers and bid teams, making sure that the information gathered during analysis and design phases with clients becomes actions. As an Enterprise (Solution) Architect at Avanade, you support our clients by understanding sales strategies, tactics, and cycles, making use of your problem-solving and analytical skills.

Key Role Responsibilities : 

Day-to-day you will:
•   Understand customers’ overall challenges/ambitions, their landscape, business priorities and success criteria to design implementation integrated architectures and solutions (Microsoft and 3rd party solutions).
•   Apply domain knowledge, technical knowledge, and customer insights to plan and estimate roadmap and architect solutions to meet business and IT needs, ensuring technical and functional viability of proposed deals and successful deployments, transitioning the solution to the delivery team.
•   Develop deep relationships with key customer IT/Business decision makers, who drive the implementation of integrated solution (Cloud platform, Data platform, Business applications, Security etc.) within their company to enable them to be strong advocates.
•   Maintain and advance technical as well as functional skills and knowledge, keeping up to date with market trends and competitive insights, and share within the technical community

•   Envision and build next solution offerings by leveraging deep technology and platform experience of colleagues in Avanade and bringing your insights on Integrated solutions and transformation

Key skills and capability requirements :

·       8+ years of experience in consulting / advisory / Enterprise architecture with a solid focus on Cloud, Data & AI technology implementation, architecture and/or strategy.

·       Direct senior client facing experience during Cloud/data architecture/Data Science/AI implementations from innovation to industrialization.

·       Experience of advising and delivering transformation projects in areas of Cloud transformation, Data and AI architectural and consulting projects e.g., data platform roadmap design, design of data warehouse/hybrid data lake, data governance, business case for data and analytics, or data trust and privacy.

·       Experience in envisioning and defining Integrated solution vision (Cloud, Data, Security, Integration patterns etc.), driving vision and roadmaps for clients as well as defining steps to become a data driven organization.

·       Good experience in bringing in reference architecture and best practices of designs for building green field architecture or leading course corrections projects

·       Good understanding of the realities of data within large enterprises and the challenges they face in gaining benefit from it.

·       Good knowledge of Azure platforms and certifications (preferred)

·       Expertise with Industry solution(s) is a big plus

·       Business level English is required and proficiency in Dutch is preferred
