Sales Transformation Project Manager (for “Seller of the Future” program)

THE ROLE

Avanade is embarking on a multiyear sales transformation as part of our ambitious business strategy to dramatically grow Avanade. The transformation includes creating a high performing sales function with a clear identity, career model, modern tools and systems to support a growing sales force to deliver exceptional results in a supportive, inclusive and rewarding work environment. Within Sales Transformation, the “Seller of the Future” (SOTF) program is a critical component that will address operating model, structure, roles, career paths and compensation topics. The Seller of the Future Project Manager will provide project management practice and discipline for this critical program. It will directly support SOTF Program Leads by leading and/or supporting SOTF project planning, coordination, and reporting activities while also ensuring connection and alignment to the broader Sales Transformation PMO. The role may also support the development of project specific materials for various presentations and reports. You will get exposure to sales strategy frameworks, sales operating models and sales planning methodologies. RESPONSIBILITIES & OUTCOMES

Within the SOTF project:

  • Develop, maintain and own SOTF project plan
  • Manage project against stated deliverables, milestones, timelines
  • Proactively identify and mitigate any issues that may compromise project deliverables
  • Develop compelling slides, decks, visuals to support SOTF Project Leads with deliverables
  • Set up and run regular project meetings
  • Plan, facilitate, and capture outcomes of workshops (e.g. Mural), interviews, surveys, etc. for use as content
  • Manage requirements related to external vendors (e.g. contract, internal approvals, etc.)
  • Escalate project specific issues to Sales Transformation PMO or Chief Sales Officer, as appropriate

 Outside the Project:

  • Liaise with Sales Transformation PMO on required integration, planning and reporting activities
  • Proactively identify and plan for project reporting and communication needs (e.g. across Sales Transformation, Executive Committee, Sales Transformation Steering Committee, and other forums/meetings/events, as needed)
  • Lead development of materials required for above, working with SOTF Program Leads for content and direction

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

In particular, the preferred candidate will be a well-organized systems thinker with an outcomes focus.

·       Supporting of the development of multi-year and annual strategies with measurable implementation plans

·       Leveraging and analyzing a variety of external data sources to help prepare high quality C-level proposals and planning models

·       Cross functional stakeholder working relationships

·       Supporting leadership to manage and sequence change through substantial transformational activities and developments
