Role Overview:

In this Sales Support role, you will successfully and efficiently be closing new business, leveraging specific skills depending on area of focus. You will interact with new and current clients, build a pipeline of new opportunities, and help close them. You will maintain an extensive knowledge and understanding of current services and solutions.

You are a driver and self-starter who will facilitate garnering Avanade business in a complex consulting environment with technology focused solutions. You work with energy, drive and commitment to overcome obstacles to achieve your goals. You take ownership and inspire others to make a positive impact. You have strong interpersonal skills and can build relationships and help neutralize conflict with colleagues and partners inside and outside your organization. 

Key Role Responsibilities:          

Day-to-day, you will:

·        Meet with potential clients / contacts in our partner organization to grow, maintain and leverage relationships

·        Identify pipeline of partner opportunities and close them through working with operations and scheduling team to staff resources on sold and potential projects

  • Provide regular pipeline reporting and revenue forecasting to inform strategic planning and decisions 
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of relevant processes and tools for a given territory/region/Market Unit to support decisions and sales growth 

Key Role Skill & Capability Requirements:         

Your technical and non-technical skills may include:

  • Understanding of Digital, Cloud, ERP deals or other large-scale consulting engagements that include global delivery.
  • Experience with the Microsoft stack of technologies and selling Microsoft products, applications, or services (i.e., O365, Azure, Dynamics CRM, AX, Digital, Software Engineering).
  • Anticipates and resolves problems
  • Agility to respond to new situations by modifying your performance & adopting new skills and abilities.
  • Hunter business development experience with deal closure capabilities.
  • Knowledge of sales principles and practices.
  • Shaping and positioning business outcome-oriented propositions.
  • Ability to establish self as a trusted advisor/discussion partner.
  • Strong communication skills, including presenting on general and industry-specific topics.
  • You will have 2-3+ years of experience in business development, relationship building and deal closure, and in driving sales in a solutions-selling environment.
