Avanade is pleased to announce the opportunity to join the North America Talent Acquisition Team as a Regional Talent Engagement Lead.
In this role, you will work closely with and influence key Regional Business Partners, employees, and HR to provide thought leadership, design and execute local and area strategies to source and hire, with a focus on diversity. Reporting into the North America Talent Acquisition Talent Engagement Lead, this role will be the face of TA within the region, designing and implementing initiatives and practices to ensure we are engaging diverse talent to meet the hiring needs of the business.
About the role:
- Design innovative, scalable sourcing and recruiting strategies that contribute to Avanade’s future growth and diversity goals
- Lead regional employee engagement, amplifying Avanade’s regional Talent Ambassador Program (TAP) to embed the “always on” culture for growth and the understanding that “everyone recruits”
- Regional Employee Referral Program point of contact, driving campaigns and ensuring program success
- Communicate internal mobility opportunities and help define internal recruitment activities in partnership with HR
- Engage Avanade Alumni in partnership with HR
- Prioritize inclusion and diversity, introducing diverse talent to Avanade, with a focus on opening doors to underrepresented communities
- Embed inclusive hiring practices and mindsets into the company culture to ensure everyone at Avanade can be authentic, do their best work, and thrive
- Identify, coordinate, and execute regional and strategic external recruiting events (in-person and virtual)
- Create measurement systems to monitor progress against desired outcomes
- Connection point with Recruitment Marketing

Your Background:
- You’ve had plenty of success with recruiting for technology-focused companies and are ready for your next challenge. You understand how to connect with people who have hot tech skills because you’re as passionate about innovation as they are. Your strong communication and presentation skills, passion for all things digital, resourcefulness and collaborative working style stem from experience in a complex environment, such as consulting.
- You’re as confident working independently as you are contributing to a team and you’re comfortable to prioritize multiple tasks at the same time. With your sound judgment and quick decision-making, you enjoy working in an environment that demands flexibility and rewards initiative.
- Experience developing strategies, tactics, and measures to increase representation in underrepresented employee groups
- You have experience in a high tech company
- Understands the difference between activity and impact
- Excellent prioritization skills and ability to tenaciously focus on the two or three critical organizational levers to affect positive outcomes
- More than 4 years' Talent Acquisition or career development experience
