Our Technical Advisory team sits at the intersection of business strategy, technology and industries and thrives on turning ideas and innovations into breakthrough results for leading organizations around the world. The Technical Advisory team provides strategic advice and uses innovative technology (data and analytics, intelligent automation. ERP/ CRM) to drive digital transformation. We deliver our broad range of advisory services through an integrated collaborative approach between our clients and practitioners.


What you’ll do

  • Own the strategy that ensures the practice region has the right capabilities to seize market advantage;
  • Responsible for driving business growth;
  • Support sales development and conversion, solutioning and delivery, and practice strategy, in addition to people, capability, and community development;
  • Ensure the practice provides sales, solutioning, and delivery support to client accounts and Integrated Go-to-Market Lines of Business and Plays;
  • Translate customer industry business goals into technology outcomes;
  • Drive technical thought leadership;
  • Apply emerging technology for successful technology platform management, operation, and security within the Customer Group on the Microsoft platform;
  • Track and optimize metrics and KPIs including account growth, cross-selling, influencer/proactive selling, revenue diversity across solution areas, overall customer group sales, revenue capture, and CCI % delivered.

Skills and experiences


Technology Leadership & Direction:

  • Own technology strategy, architecture review & road map for clients within the Client Group.
  • Drive innovation and cross Solutions Areas solutioning with clients, continuously bringing the best of Avanade, and the best lessons learned, experiences from the clients industry and other relevant industries in a way which genuinely makes a qualified difference to the client´s priorities.
  • Provide path for the client on the technology vision and strategy (working with Advisory and Account Leads).
  • Seek to understand client´s current state and future opportunities and how to bring the best Microsoft technology solutions.
  • Drive continuous innovation through technology thought leadership.

Solutioning & Delivery:

  • Provide Consistent solutioning from inception to managed service for clients within the Client Group.
  • Own technology roadmap for clients.
  • Own solution approval for Client Group.

People Leadership:
  • Cultivate alliance relationships to unlock opportunities.
  • Bridge Microsoft relationships for and with clients within Accenture for the Client Group.

Sales:
  • Identify & drive cross-sell/upsell/renewal/emerging tec opportunities (e.g. maximize usage/deployment of MSFT technologies) for clients within the Client Group.
  • Provide revenue diversity for the Client Group by taking a cross-solution area view with client opportunities within the Client Group.
  • Proactively share knowledge of client/industry pain points/opportunities related to technology solutions.

  • Education, Certifications and Experience:
  • Education/experience in the relevant field/business.
  • Experience in designing, selling, and leading client engagements with a Microsoft component.
  • Significant competency and skills in the practice.
  • Experience growing and leading a profitable advisory or management consulting practice in a region.
  • Deep experience in understanding client needs and selling/delivering assets and solutions.
  • Skills in shaping and developing people skills/capabilities of a large team.
