Project Manager

We are currently seeking: 

 Manager, Program and Project Management  

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring successful delivery of projects using Avanade Delivery Framework, as measured by schedule, budget, quality and customer satisfaction. You will regularly communicate status, manage risks and monitor financial performance. You may also serve as a Career Manager or provide technical expertise and mentorship to colleagues. 

•  Develop, implement, and maintain a project work plan to ensure on-time, on-budget, and quality outcomes, effectively handling any issues and risks that arise during the project. 

• Track and monitor the requirements as they evolve, making sure they are met and properly accounted for.  
• Guide and support the implementation of changes, effectively integrating them into the project. 
• Ensure understanding of stakeholder goals and expectations, address misalignments.
• Monitor the program to meet the agreed expectations and communicate back to customers. 
• Manage and develop customer relationships and perceptions to achieve mutual goals. 
• Provide project leadership to appropriate teams. 
• Mentor and develop team members and peers.  
• Identify the project approach, staffing, responsibilities, and schedule. 
• Monitor service levels agreements according to contract terms and conditions. 
• Contribute to the sales process, including estimating work effort and expenses using Avanade's standard tools. 
• Constantly learn and improve getting familiar with Delivery Frameworks and staying in touch with Microsoft technology stack. 
• Work in our Warsaw office (hybrid mode including 1-2days/week in the office).
  
  

Your background include:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in IT Project/Program Management, coordinating a medium-large team, with high level of exposure to customer and a proven ability to document, communicate and market IT programs while executing them. 
• Good understanding of contract terms and interpretation as well as key project management disciplines (estimating, work planning, contract management, scope management, user acceptance, etc.) 
• Working knowledge of project/product management methods, tools, techniques; Earned Value reporting. 
• Good people management skills, including overseeing a team and mentoring team members in career growth. 
• Strong interpersonal skills, building rapport with other people with a focus on developing and nurturing long-lasting relationships. 
• Excellent communication skills. Fluent Polish and English is a must. 
  
  

Your added value:

• Certifications: Project Management Institute (PMI). Additional certifications (e.g. Agile/SCRUM, ITIL etc.) are an advantage.
• Education background: Bachelor degree in business or technology-related field. 
• Expertise in Microsoft Project, working knowledge of Microsoft platform technologies especially D365 and Power Platform.
