By joining as a local Practice Lead you will get the opportunity to play a pivotal role that blends market, sales and solutioning, people, and delivery excellence. In this role, you will own the strategy that ensures the team has the right capabilities to seize market advantage and deliver excellent client work both today and tomorrow. You’ll be responsible for driving growth, supporting sales development and community development, reporting directly to the country manager.

What you will do:

  • Provide team leadership and growth by managing the Practice team. Play a pivotal role that blends market, sales and solutioning, people, and delivery. 
  • Incorporate regional strategy into local priorities, cascade to local team members (and provide feedback loop upwards), manage and assess performance of team members. 
  • Proactively work with sales and client account to identify, qualify and prioritize opportunities that will drive sales and revenues.  
  • Lead and/or provide expert solutioning support to assist with creation of proposals, sales development/closure and successful delivery of projects and services. 
  • Own and extend client relationships helping Avanade to broaden its client network and deliver an exceptional client experience. 
  • Define and manage implementation of a holistic local practice talent plan to ensure robust, future ready workforce (that includes hiring, skill development, employee engagement & wellbeing). 

Skills and experiences

  • Education and/or experience in the relevant field/business  
  • Likely 10+ years’ relevant experience designing and leading client engagements with a Microsoft component. 
  • Significant knowledge of enterprise architectures and technology trends, with specific focus on the Microsoft ecosystem
  • Significant experience managing both pre-sales (offering and solutioning), managing the capability and being responsible for the delivery. 
  • Deep experience in understanding client needs and selling and delivering assets and solutions. 
  • Experience shaping and developing people skills/capabilities of a large team.  
  • Fluency in Polish and English is required.
