Job Description

The Partner Sales Program Manager is a dual role, responsible for capturing profitable sales by leading multiple sales efforts from deal shaping, negotiation, closure, and delivery, using professional sales processes and for running Partner Ecosystem team internal program management by orchestrating relevant programs with internal key stakeholders and teams including Marketing, Sales and Solution Areas.

In this role, you will create value for Avanade clients by teaming with Partners to shape deals based on the client requirements. You will also be working with the client, deal teams and partners to source the products and services from ecosystem partners for our clients as a resale or embedded solution programs.


Day to day you will: 

Sales Pursuit and Closure 
  • Define win strategies, teaming strategies, and client buyer maps.
  • Help the team identify and qualify new sales opportunities within target clients to generate a strong sales pipeline.
  • Create solution proposals and formal quotes.
  • Get involved in client presentations and oral proposal activities.
  • Take part in directing qualified sales opportunities from proposal, through negotiations and closure.
  • Assist in establishing teaming relationships with partners to create differentiation and competitive advantage for opportunities we choose to pursue.
  • Coordinate quoting process, internal approvals and other sales team resources required for sales engagements.

Program Management 
  • Take part in organising Alliances Team internal programs and activities.
  • Coordinate defined internal campaigns between Partner Ecosystem, Marketing and other relevant teams.
  • Support Growth Markets Partner Ecosystem Lead with key initiatives and programmes across all the Regions with Growth Markets.

About You:
  • Passionate about solution selling and digital transformation projects, as well as managing roadshow events and webinars.
  • Comfortable with internal and external stakeholder interactions; ability to communicate effectively with Senior Management, Partners and Customers.
  • Ability to identify and assess complex problems; creates solutions in situations in which analysis requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
  • A solid understanding of market potential and competition; able to contribute to pursuits.
  • A strong understanding of resell business.
  • Strong program management skills.
  • A high-energy, motivated self-starter.
