About the opportunity

The lifecycle of an Avanade project runs all the way from opportunity and solutioning, through to contract delivery, then eventual closure and operational support.

As the CRM Delivery Lead, you oversee the successful delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM projects. This involves everything from planning to executing development projects and programs for both clients and Avanade, ensuring that solutions meet operational, contractual and financial commitments.


What you will love doing

You support, monitor and report throughout the phases - sales, estimating, planning, mobilising and executing, right up to closure, ensuring regular communication with stakeholders and clients and monitoring financial performance.

  • Balance scope, schedule, budget, quality and risks
  • Develop, implement, and maintain a detailed project schedule to ensure production of on-time, on-budget, quality outputs
  • Report on status and progress of all aspects of the project against the contract
  • Assist client teams to implement change enablement processes
  • Cultivate strong client relationships
  • Manage Avanade staff – both onshore and offshore – as well as sub-contractor staff when required
  • Travel as needed. However due to the current COVID situation, it is expected that services provided will largely be provided remotely (i.e. from home)

You enjoy working with structure, although with a level of autonomy, and you think and work systematically and logically - with an attention to the daily detail. You are at home with enterprise technology and your business acumen means you understand what’s involved in bringing a client initiative to successful conclusion.

You probably have a Bachelor degree in Business or IT and a Project Management certification.  You are likely to have some years of experience in the consulting industry.

Above all, you have great spoken and written communication skills. You are a person with strong presence and emotional intelligence. You are articulate and a strong leader able to connect with people and create a sense of purpose.


What technical skills are we interested in you having?

  • Experienced project manager with deep understanding of Microsoft D365 CRM, someone who can engage with clients and translate their needs into project blueprints, schedules and deliverables.
  • Extensive experience in Microsoft D365 CRM solutions and the lifecycle of planning, implementing and maintaining such solutions
  • Comprehensive understanding of Agile principles and how ideally should be applied in CRM projects, and have delivered CRM implementations with either iterative or Agile approach. You have worked with one of the application development lifecycle management tools like Azure DevOps or JIRA.
  • Managing project and program financials (e.g., budgeting, assessing financial impact, working with financial analysts).
  • Planning and managing projects and programs that are executed by geographically-dispersed teams
  • Evaluating and managing technology vendors;
  • Contract proposals, negotiations and sales support as well as Microsoft platform technologies and tools
