As an Offering Lead for Azure Platform Services, you will be responsible for the overall strategy, performance, and growth of the Microsoft Azure Platform Services Offering. You will partner closely with the North American and the Global Solution Area Leads to implement a strategy for offering identification and investments. You will focus on driving the offering every day - serving as the “face” of the offering internally and externally, support offering sales through delivery, including capability and capacity, and priority relationships with offering alliance partners, Microsoft, and Accenture. We help our clients accelerate their business outcomes and digital transformations through building scalable, secure platforms and providing cutting-edge approaches to Infrastructure-as-code, on-demand migrations, containerization and edge computing.

You will support full-spectrum, cross-offering solutions delivery for clients. You will partner with Talent Community Leads and Regional Capability Leads on resourcing and skill needs to maintain effective business operations and project outcomes.

Day-to-day you will:

  • Provide thought leadership for the overall offering framework
  • Liaise with SME’s and consolidate the information into technical proposals for clients
  • Prioritize assets to improve the overall offering
  • Sponsor top deal pursuits
  • Support attainment of regional SA targets – sales and revenue
  • Effectively position offering and cross-offering campaigns throughout Avanade
  • Provide thought and technical leadership, internally and externally, for all things on Azure
  • Develop strong, effective relationships with Accenture at the offering level
  • Partner with the global Center of Excellence (CoE) on offering and asset development

Market Development:

  • Drive offerings in the market – share assets and knowledge. Provide offering education to enable account teams to position with clients
  • Develop Regional offering strategy with Microsoft & Accenture to effectively position offering (and sub-offerings) and win clients (direct and indirect)

Sales:

  • Work with account teams to drive offering sales in targeted accounts. Engage with the Operations Team and Regional Capability Leads to assign the right resources
  • Lead solution planning and design efforts across the teams and workstreams to shape clients’ solution vision and deliver value

Delivery:

  • Became a direct partner to clients, particularly at executive level, ensuring client satisfaction through engagement value
  • Enable and ensure lighthouse success stories throughout project offerings
  • Engage in delivery solutions. Support delivery mobilization, delivery success, delivery of offering to clients.

In addition, your professional skillset includes:

  • Experience with sales principles and practices, including business development, marketing, and complex channel management
  • Have a history of deep technical engineering and architectural subject matter expertise with Azure platform, including Enterprise Scale Landing Zones.
  • Proven ability to manage a high performance team and grow individuals as well as capability
  • Ability to effectively team with peers in a large, matrixed organization, including significant experience with off-shore teams and delivery
  • Delivering solutions for client organizations through complex solutions/projects with heavy client interaction
  • Strong consulting/project-based background, including assessing and managing the opportunity and risk associated with large scale, complex projects
