Role Overview 

Partner and collaborate with Microsoft teams to develop our pipeline of opportunities and contribute to the construction and the promotion of new offerings towards our clients and prospects. 

Accountable for AU revenues pipeline (Microsoft incentives) and for usage of increasing number of Microsoft marketing programs (mainly funding of presales activities). 


Channel development with Microsoft: foster visibility of Avanade offerings within Microsoft and increase lead origination through Microsoft: 

  • be the Region key point of contact for the Microsoft Channel partner 
  • build strong relationships with Microsoft partner marketing advisors to be involved in all programs,  
  • identify clients to be nominated for Microsoft programs 
  • contribute to sales pipeline origination on qualified leads 
  • increase marketing/presales/support budgets awarded by Microsoft to Avanade  
  • develop awareness of Avanade teams (Business Developers and Solution Areas) on the programs that can be funded by Microsoft to leverage our position on the market and promote our offerings and on licence recovery opportunities 
  • develop marketing initiatives with Microsoft (events, press releases, presentation in Microsoft MTC premises…) 
  • position Avanade in the Microsoft market place 

Secure growth of Alliance Utilization revenues within Avanade:  

  • remain up to date on the Microsoft recognition programs 
  • secure the recognition of Avanade as the Partner of Record in the clients’ environments that run on Microsoft technologies (PAL, DPOR, CPOR) 
  • assist Business Developers and Solution Area teams in promoting and facilitating the usage of Microsoft programs (master internal processes, accelerate/industrialize usage of Microsoft programs) 

Key Role skills  

Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Communications or IT or similar degree; experience may substitute for degree. 

10+ years relevant experience in business analysis, marketing and/or lead generation in a professional services company.  

Experience in ecosystem/alliance management is critical. 

Deep knowledge of Microsoft business environment is a key differentiator.
